Had a little pop up at the lovely Walkern Toddler Group today. Felt very strange as all my children attended the toddler group when they were little. Made me feel very nostaligic!! and old!!!🤣

Today we are spotting and pressing flowers. A recent pressing tip I discovered is that small flowers such as daisies, violets and forget-me-nots press much better between cotton wool pads with something heavy placed on top. So having an actual flower press is not always necessary. Look out for future crafts using these pressed flowers.

We have had the Usborne minis "Flowers to Spot" book for some time and my daughter regularly uses it as a reference book for spotting flowers on our walks in the countryside. There is a whole range of Usborne Minis and they are such a handy size to pop into pockets.
