Dear Cherished customers, It is with a heavy heart that I write this post to you today. Firstly, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported us at SOU over the years. Your loyalty and patronage have meant the world to me, and I am truly grateful for your ongoing support.

When I made the decision to reopen SOU, I knew that it would be a financial risk. The costs of raw materials have tripled since 2020, making it increasingly difficult to maintain profitability in the current economic climate. Despite these challenges, I was willing to give it my best shot and see if we could make it work.

Unfortunately, the reality is that our efforts have not been enough to overcome the obstacles we have faced. Recently, our website notified us of a 65% increase in fees, along with other price hikes in other Point of Sale areas of the business.
These additional expenses have pushed us to a point where the outcome is simply unsustainable. After careful consideration and a thorough review of our financial situation, I have come to the difficult decision to close the doors of SOU for the final time.

The online business will cease operations on 7th October, and all remaining stock at Studio 42 shop will be removed by the end of October ‘24.

It pains me to have to make this decision, as I have poured my heart and soul into building SOU into what it is today, but the overwhelming decrease in sales, with an 80% drop compared to previous years, has left me with no choice but to accept that it is time to say goodbye.

I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support and loyalty throughout the years. Your passion for SOU and continued custom have been the driving force behind everything we have done, and I am truly grateful for your support. While this chapter may be coming to a close, I hope that the memories and experiences we have shared together will live on in your hearts.

Thank you once again for being a part of the SOU family, and for making this journey so special.
