Good mooooorning lovelies!!

Up bright and early this morning as youngest is going on a school trip today and had to be at school for 7:15am.

I’m now back home collecting the school book my eldest daughter Poppy borrowed from a friend to take it inti her school despite my daughter not going in today to then go and collect partner from garage as his van is going in for its MOT.

Honestly it’s always all go!

So on today’s list of orders to create is some wooden jellycat signs and some more chopping boards!

I hate it and I feel so incredibly sick this morning and anxious about my appointment . Why why why!! I’d happily undergo operations than this!

I was going to say good morning everybody but it’s afternoon!

Well I’m going to tell you about the morning I’ve had. I was due at the dentist for a replacement filling and anyone who knows me personally knows how terrified I am of the dentist. 🦷

I am fine with surgery hospital needles etc but the dentist and teeth I’m terrified. 😭😩😬🤢😫

I spent all morning preparing myself mentally, psyching myself up for it, walk in, speak to reception who looks puzzled!

Turns out I’m a day early!!!! Right time just 1 day too early!!! 😭😭

Now the come down from that adrenaline is real and I’ll have it all again tomorrow but also having the sore mouth to go with it! 🪥🦷

Has anyone ever done this!!? Please tell me you have and it’s not just me who looks and feels stupid!!

So I will be starting the testing with the hypofix tape!

I’m excited haha Simple things😍

Started the journey to patterned hypafix tape for
🩹NG tubes - securing tube
🩹IV/cannula tubing – helping stop the line pulling or moving.
🩹Feeding-tube extension tubing, such as PEG or gastrostomy extensions.
🩹Urinary catheter tubing – providing additional anchoring to reduce pulling.
🩹Drain tubing following surgery or procedures.
🩹Oxygen tubing – occasionally for securing tubing where appropriate.
And all other uses!!

I know this is a really sensitive topic but I hope I can bring a little comfort to someone in need.

I’m introducing these little acrylic garden markers in memory of babies. They can have your little one's name on or be left blank for those gorgeous angels who never made it to this earth.🩶

Sometimes what I create isn't about Christmas or birthdays or gifts. Sometimes it means so much more than that.

I truly love these, and my hope is that they bring a little comfort to anyone who needs one, place it in a quiet spot in the garden, flower bed or a corner of your home.

Well, this is a new one for me! 💛

Someone asked me this week if I could make customised, patterned NG tube tape. And honestly? I had no idea if I could. I've never made anything like it, and I've never worked with this material before!

But I love a challenge especially when it means making something that could bring a little colour and personality to a really tough situation. And this one is close to my heart.

When my eldest daughter was born, she had an NG tube placed which was quite a shock. But I remember how the little heart-shaped tape holding it in place made everything feel just a bit softer and less clinical. Such a small thing but it made a huge difference.

So I said yes! I'm very happy to try!

Now the experimenting begins: testing designs, finding out what works (and what really doesn't), and learning as I go. I'll share how it turns out, wobbles and all.

If you've ever wished you could find something a bit more personal for a loved one / your little one / yourself, just ask. I can't promise I'll have done it before, but I promise I'll try my very best. 💛

Good morning everyone!
Can’t believe it’s Thursday already! Time really is flying and I feel I need to start getting prepared for Christmas. For me part of Christmas is all the little touches? The Christmas tea towel, the Christmas cups, the lights, the decorations, Christmas chopping boards, Anybody else?

Are you:
A) starting to panic thinking about how it’s creeping up on us?

B ) Think it’s way to early and you’ll deal with it nearer the time?

C) Starting to get organised and feeling excited

D) Christmas what’s that it’s only October!!

Honestly believe me time will fly and you’ll be panic buying all your personalised bits the week before - please don’t be that person! Why not get organised now!
