Sad, but very atmospheric photos of the buildings that inspired my novel Ghost Train. In the book I conflated the two houses so that the fictional house has the history of the murder, but physically resembles the other building.

I wanted to explore the ghostly side of this site in a different way. And the story begins with the restoration of the building ...
