Absolutely heartbroken to see what has happened in our beloved Stourbridge, yesterday and into today. What an unbelievable effort by the local and attending Fire and emergency services, and feeling proud of what the community has been doing so quickly too. So many springing right into action, offering their available spaces and services to those in most need right now.
I received some messages and texts from customers who recognised the town on the news as being where we're based, very kind of those for checking in. We're about 2/3 miles from the affected area of Stourbridge, so humbly, not affected here in Wollaston, but looking what can be done to assist.

A little update on the workshop bookings side of things, as I've received an influx of booking inquiries this week so figured it would be wise of me to update accordingly here on the socials too.

I am currently fully booked for any servicing work and I am not currently taking on any new bookings. With juggling childcare duties over the school summer holiday's too, working through and honouring the existing bookings is proving particularly difficul,t to be honest. So as a result, I am needing to be pretty strict on the intake of work at the moment. I am truly grateful for the interest in booking in, and I am sorry for needing to decline any new inquiries, but only so many hours in the day and those hours are becoming more limited as the school holiday's roll on.

If you're ever keen to book something in, I ensure I always update my 'Guitar Services' page on my website. It'll state at the top of that page whether I'm open for bookings, or closed so that's the best place to do a quick check on the current status.
Also, whilst on the subject of the guitar services page over on the website, that also has a list of the current type of work I am accepting, which will also hopefully help with inquiries.

Apologies for not updating the socials on this kind of thing lately though, as my lack of updates likely hasn't helped with the inquiries coming in. Whilst my bookings are closed I tend to just have my head down concentrating on getting through the jobs in a timely manner, socials get pushed way back in my brain during that time! But hope this info helps any planning and be sure to support the many other supremely talented techs, repairers and luthiers in the area too.

I'll be getting back into action tomorrow (27th) processing orders and dispatching in-stock items for those who kindly placed an order whilst I was closed. Had some great quality time with my family, so I really appreciate your kind support and patience throughout :)
For pre-wired kit orders, I'll be making a start with the soldering iron from tomorrow onwards, making kits in date order. But it will be full steam ahead so hopefully I'll be back up to speed and back to normal turnaround times as fast as possible.

Just a friendly reminder that I am currently closed, so any orders placed won't be processed and/or dispatched until Monday 27th July onwards. Any made-to-order products, such as my pre-wired kits, will be made in date order, following on from the 27th too.
