We bought our first printing blocks in a favourite fairtrade artisan shop of ours in Wales several years ago. The blocks themselves are lovely items to pick up and hold; beautiful designs hand carved with care. This was enough to inspire us and we hoped that one day we might get round to using them for various craft projects at home...

Today, we are still collecting blocks and love nothing more t

han spending time in our orchard studio experimenting with different designs and colours. Even though you can see the design on the block, it's still always exciting the first time you make a print with a block or a colour you've not used before. More lovely things to come :-)
