Somewhere between a garden party and a Mary-Poppins-style daydream with British seasonal flowers everywhere. The brief was to bring colour into an entirely monochromatic backdrop, giving softness to the otherwise clean lines and contrasts and adding a whimsy that mirrored the surrounding gardens at Kensington Palace. Feature moments appeared throughout the guest journey; a watering can, mannequin, a hot air balloon and an oversized violin made entirely of moss were some of these. We wanted it to feel fun but elegant, playful yet grown up.
It was a joy to work alongside a team of suppliers we have long admired. Also our wonderful team of project managers, designers, florist and crew, our incredible metal work artist Julian Carter Studio and our flower farmers kimberly fleming ~ the marlston farmgirl Danielle L I S A C O M F O R T and Howbury Farm Flowers - thank you all.
