Love and light for N&C's wedding. Playing with yellows and creams in April: sweet peas, orlaya, tulips, spirea, garden roses, larkspur, allium and rancunculi. The detailing of the painted ceilings at the church was beautiful. For the reception; the light-flooded Nash Conservatory and the Orangery at Kew Gardens played an elegant host as the light journeyed through from early afternoon through to dusk.

Somewhere between a garden party and a Mary-Poppins-style daydream with British seasonal flowers everywhere. The brief was to bring colour into an entirely monochromatic backdrop, giving softness to the otherwise clean lines and contrasts and adding a whimsy that mirrored the surrounding gardens at Kensington Palace. Feature moments appeared throughout the guest journey; a watering can, mannequin, a hot air balloon and an oversized violin made entirely of moss were some of these. We wanted it to feel fun but elegant, playful yet grown up.

It was a joy to work alongside a team of suppliers we have long admired. Also our wonderful team of project managers, designers, florist and crew, our incredible metal work artist Julian Carter Studio and our flower farmers kimberly fleming ~ the marlston farmgirl Danielle L I S A C O M F O R T and Howbury Farm Flowers - thank you all.

A dinner held in the Nash Conservatory at Kew Gardens for Sotheby's in celebration of the Henry Moore exhibition: Monumental Nature.

We felt at home with this brief and it was a joy to bring it to life.

We used grasses, cotinus, scabiosa, cosmos, ammi, ornit and butterfly ranunculus - wildly but intentionally brought together into a continuous table runner.

Thank you Danielle for your ever lovely stems.

Happy Chelsea in Bloom week! The theme this year is 'Out Of This World' - we created installations in The White Company's Symons Street and Pavillion Road shop windows. Together with the VM team, we landed on the concept of falling into another world as we drifted off to sleep. Each window interpreted the gentle rhythms of theta and delta brainwaves using shape, light and movement to match these rhythms and create a feeling of still and calm.

Chelsea in Bloom runs through to Sunday 24th May.

Earth Day. A reminder to us and to all that the choices we make in life and work have an impact. As we grow as a company, we are having lots of conversations about our values and our practices and how we always keep these in sight 🌸

The purpose of Flower & Press was to offer large scale floristry sustainably - transparent supply chains, green waste management, sustainable mechanics (we still have never used a single piece of floral foam) and a culture that constantly questions how we work and strives to improve our impact. We’re not perfect but we are conscious and are always trying to do better 🌱

Happy Earth Day - may we all do what we can to look after each other and our green space πŸŒπŸ’š
