James Routledge Sketch Artist 'Turning photos to sketches since 2018'

Hi there and thank you for viewing my page.

What I do here is I turn your photographs into personalised hand drawn sketches. I can blend some of your favourite photos together to make the perfect family/group portrait suitable for any occasion. I don't just stop at people and pets, I have also created an number of other pieces when requested for special occasions. The aim of 'Routledge Arts' is also to encourage people to become more creati

ve and artistic. This is a good way of learning new skills, find a new passion, or how to use art to help improve mental health. This is why this page also shows some other the other pieces of art work I create. These items aren't planned for being on sale, I just like getting creative and involved with a lot of other arty projects too. If anyone has any enquires about a personalised sketch, feel free to message me and I'll see what we can do.

A year ago (yesterday) I was asked by South Shields FC to create a piece representing their club to help raise money at their "Let's Kick Diabetes" charity game. It had been signed by all the players on that team sheet and it went for an amazing £500!!! I still can't believe it!! Every penny from this was donated to the charity ✏️

This is just one of the many things I've been lucky to help with since starting this crazy art adventure ❤️

I'll always be grateful for everyone that's supported my work and this page over the years.

Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control, I'm having to stop taking any orders until well after the new year. I've never had to do this before, so anyone that I've had to put a hold on, I can't apologise enough 😔 I am absolutely gutted to do this, but unfortunately i have to do it for now. So sorry about this to the people it effects, especially right before Christmas 😔

For the pyrography orders that had been requested, the last ones are getting posted tomorrow.
For the sketches that have been ordered, I'm working away on them now and will hopefully have them all finished around next weekend.
