Surbiton is proud of its diverse collection of independent shops, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and pubs. We think that Surbiton provides much of what Kingston does but with better style. Pop out from Harry Potter's Surbiton station, turn left and you are on Victoria Road (the high street, to most shoppers). At the end of Victoria Road is Brighton Road a haven of mainly great Asian restaurants
and indie shops, salons and pubs. Turn right from the station and you have the lovely shopping Central Parade of St Marks Hill. Directly opposite the station is the bustling Claremont Road. Between Claremont Road and Brighton Road coming off Victoria Road are St James Road and St Andrews Road (a slightly hidden gem), which also have lovely shops. Not far away and running parallel to Victoria Road is the lovely shops, restaurants and bars of Maple (Village) Road, where our wonderful Farmers Market is held on the third Saturday of every month. Shop and visit for two weeks in May and you will experience the very creative Surbiton Food Festival. Visit for one week in September and you will experience the amazing Surbiton Festival. The other months are great too! Don't miss the wonderful events provided by The Seething Wells Community which happen regularly and wondrously throughout the year.
