Following on from our post yesterday, here is Hiedi’s Story :

My name is Hiedi Marcus and three years ago my young mare was extremely poorly with stomach ulcers. I tried everything the vets prescribed, and lots more holistic remedies besides. Chooey (aka Hawtins Fiorella) was gastro scoped on three separate occasions during this time and was getting progressively worse despite treatment. Eventually, she stopped eating and I was terrified of losing her.

In a last-ditch attempt to turn things around, some friends recommended Thrive Feed. Sam dropped off a bag and explained that Choo might take a few weeks to accept the feed. It was an agonising time whilst I hand fed her every day and patiently waited for signs that she was becoming more comfortable in her own skin.

Slowly she accepted Thrive, her appetite kicked in and we made the journey back to an optimum weight for her. With the help of my trainer, I was then able to recommence her training and we have not looked back since!

2018 was an amazing year for us both and I feel so indebted to Thrive and all the people that helped us along the way. When Sam retired, I was not going to let Thrive disappear from the UK without a fight. I was convinced that Choo would regress if she ate the feeds readily available here that had failed her before. So teaming up with Beth was a no brainer.

A huge thank you to all those loyal to Thrive who are supporting us, and most importantly their horses, by continuing to feed Thrive. It is our privilege to help facilitate the wellbeing of your equines through this feed.
