Bouquets du jour. It's that time of year again when we start to see those beautiful late summer and early autumn varieties come into full swing. Dahlias (the stars of August), helenium, echinacea, sedum, snowberries and raspberries... A gentle reminder that change is just around the corner, and that shift into a cooler, more mellow season isn't so far away. It's hard to imagine with the glorious warm weather we've been enjoying, but it's quite a lovely thought too. It makes you appreciate these long summer days and flowers all the more. 💞

BTS from our workshop recently – flowers for the lovely Nancy and Harry. Elegant whites, creams and pretty peachy hues, with buckets of more delicate details that were later added on site to make sure they stayed nice and perky in the heatwave!

We absolutely loved working with this beautiful colour palette, along with some really lovely locally grown stems from Dorset growers Paul Stickland including dainty crème brûlée phlox, sweet peas, and the bounciest white cosmos.

Last weekend for Georgie and Huw, a beautiful, abundant floral arch at St Nicholas's Church in Studland, filled with soft blues and whites and plenty of fresh seasonal greens, finished with baskets brimming with delphinium and hydrangea. The baskets were later moved to their reception at Shell Bay

All built and moved in 29°C heat and glorious sunshine by our incredible team! 💪🌞

Warm summer hues and lots of floaty texture for Georgie and Huw's church wedding. These floral plinth designs framed their ceremony beautifully before being moved to Shell Bay for their evening reception, and then on to their home for the next day's celebrations. Big enough to make an impact, but compact enough to move from one venue to the next with ease, this style of design is perfect for repurposing throughout the day (and beyond)!

With the hot weather set to stick around for the rest of the week, we'll be escaping downstairs to the workshop from time to time, where both we and the flowers can stay nice and cool (and well hydrated!). 🌞

Sian had a clear vision for her bridal bouquet: lots of colour, texture, and three flowers she especially loved. Sweet peas and lavender were included for their beautiful fragrance, with delicate cosmos woven throughout simply because they're so beautiful.

The result was a unique, almost ethereal bouquet, featuring dainty, dancing locally grown stems and a soft blend of vibrant summer hues. It looked as though it had been lifted straight from the pages of a fairy tale, perfectly suited to Sian and Alex's relaxed, intimate summer wedding at Corfe Castle.
