Little weekend fishing report. .
Stayed on Sunday with league match on Littleton . A bright sunny calm morning and was greeted by a few fish , Kept my baits small and ended up with 8 fish on card , 5 green eels 2 flounder and a sole . Managed to win my zone but learned a lesson as I got beat by 2 fish a flounder and a bass , the length to weight conversion gave the other angler more points . Well done to the winner and everyone else who took part . Look forward to the next one .
Onto Monday and I managed to squeeze in a small session on the hounds . Landed 4 on crab and lost one , almost lost my rods and reeks to , wasn’t close enough to them , had ratchets set but line tangled on stand and sent them towards the sea 🙈luckily they landed on edge of water and the line parted . So lesson learned again 😂 . Please be weary when fishing for hounds as you could quite easily lose a set up .
