A little Braemar creation is making its way from Tockwith all the way down to Sussex! 🌳🔨

This bespoke oak and copper stand was handcrafted here at Braemar of Tockwith, combining solid oak with copper pipework and industrial-style fittings.

Another completely one-off piece made to order and now off to its new home. 🚚📦

It’s always brilliant knowing that things I make in the workshop are finding homes all over the country. ❤️

We're back at Thirsk Artisan Market this Sunday (19th July) from 10:00am – 3:00pm.

I'll be bringing along a selection of handcrafted wooden gifts, chopping boards, home décor and personalised pieces, all made by hand here in Yorkshire.

It's not just about Braemar though – there'll be a fantastic selection of talented local makers, artists, bakers and independent businesses, so it's the perfect opportunity to browse, pick up something unique and support small businesses.

A gift with double the meaning. ❤️

Commissioned by a returning customer, this handcrafted yew wall plaque was created to celebrate a very special milestone – 15 years of marriage.

Featuring a beautifully engraved rowan tree, the family surname, and the number 15, this piece has a special double meaning.

Not only does it mark their 15th wedding anniversary, but it's also proudly displayed on house number 15.

Crafted from one-of-a-kind yew, every knot, grain and natural edge tells its own story, making each piece completely unique.

Seeing it in its new home is always the most rewarding part of the process.

A couple of months ago I created this stunning Shou Sugi Ban yew centrepiece.

It's soon to be joined by a matching set of bespoke yew placemats and coasters, completing this one-of-a-kind dining table.

Every piece is handcrafted from beautiful yew, finished to a deep, glass-like resin shine and designed to showcase the timber's incredible natural character.
