First event of September and we’re back! 📚✨

Today you’ll find us at The Garage, Chilwell, Nottingham with the shelves absolutely packed with bookish goodies.

We’ve brought special editions, Blind Dates with a Book, Punchkins, 3D printed bookish goodies, shelf decor and, of course, plenty of books ready to destroy your TBR.

And we’ve got some familiar faces here today too, with the amazing joining us at The Garage! They specialise in hidden disability awareness and products, and it’s always lovely doing an event alongside them. ❤️

Another brilliant night with the **That’s What She Read Book Club** 📚🍂 at The Book Nook Bakery

Just look at this lovely lot! Another amazing turnout last night, and we absolutely love seeing the group grow and getting everyone together each month to talk books, have a laugh and inevitably get slightly distracted along the way.

Last month we read **Pounded by Produce** which, yes, was exactly as ridiculous as it sounds… but somehow everyone actually enjoyed it 😂 Alongside it we had **Out of Her League**.

Now September is here, autumn is officially on its way, so obviously the next read needed to match the season. 🍂🎃

Although considering my drink choice last night was a **Pumpkin Spice Latte**, I think I may have accidentally jinxed the whole thing… because our September read is **Death by Pumpkin Spice**. 😂

Cosy autumn vibes, pumpkin spice and a little bit of murder. What could possibly go wrong?

Thank you to everyone who came along last night. We genuinely love what this book club is becoming, and we’ll see you all next month! 🧡

NEW BOOK DAY

We may have gone slightly overboard with the latest book delivery… but look at them. How were we supposed to say no?!

We’ve got new releases, gorgeous special editions, sprayed edges, dark romance, fantasy, romance and even Dungeon Crawler Carl joining the Midgard shelves.

And the best bit? They’re coming on the road with us.

🏰 **ROMANTASY FEST, WE’RE COMING!** 🐉✨

This Saturday we’re heading to **Ruthin Castle** for Romantasy Fest and, really, could you ask for a better venue? Romantasy. In an ACTUAL CASTLE. We were sold immediately.

We’ll be bringing loads of bookish goodness including books, Blind Dates with a Book, 3D printed dragons, book nooks, signs and plenty more.

So if your idea of a perfect Saturday involves castles, dragons, morally grey men and making questionable financial decisions because something is pretty… we’ll see you there. 👀

Newcastle… they’re ready for you! 📚

Literary Escape Newcastle opens at **10am at Newcastle Racecourse** and can we just take a moment for this setup?!

We handed Midgard over to my parents for the day and apparently that was a dangerous decision… because we think they might have beaten us. 😂

They’ve absolutely smashed it. Everything looks SO GOOD and we’re ridiculously proud of them!

If you’re heading to Literary Escape Newcastle today, make sure you go and say hello, have a browse and most importantly… **please be nice to the parents!** 😂

Meanwhile, we’re down in London at For the Love of Fantasy & Sci-Fi wondering whether we’ve just been permanently replaced.
