Hey everyone! So as I said yesterday I'm going to give you a bit of information every day on 2 charities so today I will start with Tiny Tickers!
Tiny Tickers are a small national charity which help to teach and train Sonographers to spot defects during routine pregnancy scans. They also support families with a diagnosis so the families are not alone! They were founded in 1999 by a fetal cardiologist when she realised many of the babies she was caring for could have been helped sooner. Tiny Tickers rely solely on donations! Tiny tickers Chief executive is a parent of a child who has had open heart surgery for a major defect. 1 in every 125 babies is born with a heart defect.
