Coaley Village Community Shop We are a friendly community shop run by volunteers: By the community for the community. We also have homemade cakes to offer. There will be a place for you.

Coaley shop is open seven days a week and is exclusively run by volunteers. We aim to stock those bits and pieces which you might need at short notice, but we also stock provisions for your weekly shop. So whether you need a quick dash in for the ingredients to bake that cake, to top up your washing powder or get a last minute birthday card; please give us a try! We sell a wide range of groceries, soft drinks, sweets and a range of household goods. We have Fairtrade products, as well as home grown vegetables, local meat and dairy goods. The meat is from award winning Cam Butchers and Frocester Fayre, and the cheeses are from Hania Cheeses in Stroud. Daily newspapers are available, both ad hoc and to order. Coaley shop also acts as an information hub for a the community. We are always keen to recruit new faces to help in the shop, whether that be behind the counter or working in the background. We can't believe that its been 2 years since our beautiful mural was unveiled. Our continued thanks go to the fabulous artist Abby Conway. It has become such a focal point in the village, and very much loved by villagers and visitors alike.šŸ¦‰

We are announcing our AGM: Tuesday 15th September 2026 at 7pm in Jubilee room of the Village Hall. Individual notices, with nomination forms for all our members are now in the shop for collection. Included in this, is the loyalty card for 12 free hot drinks. Should you wish to become a member, there is a small fee plus an application form. Please apply in the shop.
