A textile artist I enjoy working with is Helen Birmingham, her projects are very satisfying and a joy to know my little piece will be part of a much bigger piece that will be exhibited around the country.
I introduced this little project to the fortnightly Thursday afternoon group.
This time is all about connecting with other ladies and whilst all resources are available for slow stitching you are welcome to come and do nothing or bring your own tabletop/lap size project. A few spaces left if you would like to join us. πŸ’š

Working on a A4 size cloth decided I to 4 for each session.
I am sharing my knowledge of embroidery with 2 lovely ladies on mini workshops at home.
If you are interested in sharing my space with me get in contact. πŸ’š

Lastly my current piece I'm working on "A Cloth Story".
It started with a small piece of my Nana's handwriting which I transferred to cloth along with a page from her Bero book.

I went along this week as I now have my own loom to learn how to prepare the loom with the warp threads. I'm not able to go it alone. 😊

Just like a bus you have a wait and all come at once. This is the first of three post of what I've been working on and a new project.
This was an Anne Brooke project completed in 2023 but I hadn't added the binding. It is now a finished piece.
