Happy valentines day everybody!

Jason has lovingly prepared fabulous cote de boeuf and heart-shaped rump steaks for anyone looking for inspiration for a special meal tonight.

And to make it that bit more special, why not add these fabulous oyster mushrooms and San Marzano tomatoes.

The trees may have been bare for a little while now but we have today (finally!) finished pressing the last of the fruit for juice.

It has been an extremely challenging season but here's to all the team here at the Farm Shop and in the orchards who have toiled to get us through it. They have been phenomenal 🙌

Here is Abbie with the very last bottle of D'Arcy Spice from the pasteuriser. A delicious, rich and very creamy juice (and no, it's not spiced, that's just the name of the apple!).

Now it's time for a quick cuppa before working on the plans for this year's harvest.

The weather outside is frightful... And not in a good, 6 inches of snow kind of way - just a filthy, gray, windy, rainy day.

The best way to combat the conditions is to hunker down with some comfort food. We have everything you need for a hearty and comforting soup, stew or roast.

We source as much local produce as we can, with much of our winter veg coming from our fabulous friends who farm in Bintree and Aylsham.

A gentle reminder that this weekend is the last opportunity to guarantee a turkey for Christmas this year.

Beautiful, ethically reared, free-range Norfolk Bronze turkeys from Darrow Green farm in the Waveney valley.

Fresh from the kitchen garden are these home grown cucamelon (or Mexican miniature watermelon). They make lovely little snacks or are delicious in salsas.

We don't have masses, so snap them up while you can.

We don't have all of the 160 varieties that we grow all available right now, but we have enough that we are confident you will find the perfect one for you.

And how can you be confident you've found one you'll love? Simple, by trying them! We encourage everyone to try the apples to make sure you have found the perfect one for you.

STOP THE PRESS - PICK YOUR OWN IS NOW OFFICIALLY OPEN!

The PYO orchard is looking great and we now have Discovery, Worcester and Laxton's Fortune varieties available to pick.

No need to book or let us know you are coming. PYO is available every day from 9am - 5pm. Simply pick what you want and come back to the shop to have it weighed.

We do have bags available for you to pick into but we have to charge for them so please bring your own.

Here we go again! The first of our own apples are finally here.

The Beauty of Bath is a parent of the Discovery apple - usually ready in early August. It is a little on the tart side but as the first picking of the season here, they make for a very welcome sight.
