So happy to finally share the wedding of Monica and Jack -truly the sweetest couple, and a beautiful night In Santa Barbara that felt just like THEM. The long awaited .usa made its debut and it couldn’t have felt more PERFECT!!
…. The family’s beautiful garden, paired with the heavily draped tent, created the most luxurious setting. The canvas canopy (a structural masterpiece) spoke for itself. Inside felt like a dream— banquettes slipcovered in subtle stripes were layered with a mix of playful, printed textiles and an eclectic mix of beautiful dinnerware. A 28-piece orchestra performed on a tiered stage framed by floral and hand-painted facades ….the dance floor, inspired by a tiny mosaic tiles, filled the center of the room. Guests held tambourines high over head, ribbons trailing behind them …the dancing never stopped, truly a celebration that carried its energy well into the night.🌙 Congratulations !!!!

MARQUEES

There’s something genuinely magical about the idea of a luxury wedding marquee.

A blank canvas, set in a place that means something to you: your family home, a borrowed field, a garden you’ve loved for years.

But that blank canvas is also where the challenges begin.

Because unlike a traditional venue, a marquee wedding means you’re building everything from scratch.

And without the right support, the gaps in planning can catch even the most organised couples completely off guard.

After years working as a marquee wedding planner across the home counties and Isle of Wight, I’ve seen the same mistakes come up time and again.

Not because couples aren’t thoughtful (they are), but because there’s so much that simply isn’t obvious until you’ve done it before.

So as we are approaching the marquee season I will be offering some honest advice and guidance over the next few weeks to what goes wrong and how a marquee wedding planner can help you get ahead.
