✂️ Saturday Sewing Workshop – Last Chance to Book!
If you've been thinking about joining us for tomorrow's sewing workshop but haven't booked your place yet, now's the perfect time.

To help us confirm tomorrow's session, we'd really appreciate it if you could book your place today if you'd like to attend.
Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build your confidence, you'll be welcomed into a relaxed and supportive environment. If you're just starting out, we'll take everything step by step, from setting up your sewing machine to creating your first project.

If tomorrow isn't the right time for you, that's absolutely fine too. We'd just be grateful if those who are planning to come could confirm their place today so we can finalise arrangements.
We'd love to welcome you to Minycled.

Thank you so much to our gorgeous bride Jemma for taking the time to send in photos of her big day! It truly means the world to us 🥰

Jemma, you looked truly beautiful, and your rustic winter venue couldn’t have been more perfect for a magical Christmas wedding. 🎄 ✨

It was such a pleasure having you in the shop, you are genuinely one of the loveliest people, beautiful on the inside and out!
Being part of your bridal journey was an honour, and seeing you so happy on your big day made us smile from ear to ear.

We wish you both a lifetime of love. Thank you again for choosing us and for sharing your special day with us 🤍

♻️ Sustainable Fashion Week Hub is coming to Torquay 2025♻️

For the first time, Torquay will host a national SFW Hub part of a UK-wide movement about sustainability, creativity, and community through fashion. Both days will now take place at the Hampton by Hilton, The Terrace, Torquay:

📅 Thu 2 Oct – Talks, workshops, student showcases & stalls
📅 Fri 3 Oct – Creative UK Devon networking + Green Runway fashion show

Hosted by Karen Anderson, founder of local slow-fashion brand Minycled, who is passionate about helping fashion students and emerging designers find real opportunities here in Torbay. Over 100 students from Exeter College & AUP Plymouth are already involved, alongside local designers and sustainable brands.

This event is about opening the conversation on how we can keep young talent in the region, fill empty shops in the future, and grow a stronger creative community locally.

If you know any fashion students, let them know it’s not too late students can take part for free with 3–4 looks on the Green Runway or a showcase stand.

We’re also calling out to ethical brands and creatives who upcycle or repurpose to join us (deadline: Tue 12pm).

🎟️ More info & tickets: www.minycled.co.uk/events
Let’s come together as a community to support our young people, our designers, and Torquay’s creative future. 💚
