Sorry for being a bit quiet on here lately—I've been taking some time out to enjoy a proper family holiday before my crew head back to school!

Even while taking a breather, it’s been busy behind the scenes with a flurry of orders coming in—including a number of repeat customers coming back for more, which means the world to me. Ignore the rain outside today—summer isn't over yet, and it’s brilliant to see everyone getting their gardens sorted for when the sun pops back out.

Juggling the workshop alongside my full-time day job means things stay pretty fast-paced around here, and thanks to the recent rush, the order book for September is officially full! That said, depending on what you need, I might just be able to squeeze a couple more pieces in if you get in quick.
As well as crafting our popular bespoke pallet planters, I’m also taking orders for custom log stores to help you get stocked up and ready for the cooler months ahead.

Big things have been happening behind the scenes! You might have noticed it’s been a bit quiet on the feed lately, and that’s because some exciting new changes have come up in my full-time job.

Pallet Nest was born after I found a completely new love for building using pallet wood. Taking something raw and forgotten and turning it into something beautiful has become my absolute passion.
Building a business from the ground up takes a lot of sawdust, sweat, and late nights—but receiving messages like this makes me so incredibly proud of how far Pallet Nest has come:

Just wrapped up this custom L-shape planter, and honestly, it’s one of our favorite builds yet. Getting those L-shape corners perfectly flush takes some serious precision, but what makes it even better is knowing that every single piece of timber we used used to be a shipping pallet.

If you know us here at Pallet Nest, you know we absolutely love pallet wood—in fact, it’s all we use! It takes a lot of extra hours of dismantling, planing, and sanding, but giving that timber a second life as a premium planter is exactly why we do this. The unique character, nail holes, and grain you get from reclaimed wood just can't be bought off a shelf.
We even loaded it up and delivered it right to the customer’s doorstep to see it in its new home. There’s nothing better than dropping off a flawless finished product and knowing we kept good wood out of the landfill.

Huge shoutout to our customer for the order—thanks for letting us show off what can be done with a bit of hard work and some recycled timber!
