It’s been a long old while since I’ve been on here but I’ve started crafting again and have been enjoying playing with some different art forms! 🌊

I started Sanguine Seas as something to keep my busy and give me a purpose during lockdown. Since then, life has become very busy again but I am still value all the moments I get to be creative and explore different techniques.

I’m not restocking my Etsy shop just yet but am taking commissions if any of my latest creations tickle your fancy!

Happy world ocean’s day! 🌊💙

World ocean day was set up to highlight the importance of the ocean and the impact that humans are having on it.

The ocean provides ~50% of the worlds oxygen, covers ~70% of the earth’s surface and yet less that 10% has any protection at all.

Whatever you do today, try and make one of your actions ocean positive 🌍

Ideas:

༄ Do a litter pick, no matter where or how far from the sea you are

༄ Eat more plants 🌱

༄ Think about the environmental impact of the next product you buy, is there an alternative?

༄ Do some research about actions you can take to protect the ocean

༄ Share your journey with others - we don’t need a handful of perfect people, we need a world full of people doing their best!
