Have you ever thought about writing down your memories? The people, places and experiences that have shaped your life?
Well, a new fortnightly group is starting here at Speldhurst Community shop called Whilst We Remember.
it's a chance to share memories, stories and experiences – and perhaps record them for future generations.
The first meeting is Tuesday, the 22nd of September 11 am – 12 pm, in Community Space. Plus it's FREE!
So whether you've got a lifetime of stories to tell, memories you'd love to share, or you'd simply like to listen – we'd love you to come along and be part of it.

We are so lucky to have a wine expert who choses the wine for our shop .
Jo lives right here in our village and has spent her career in the wine industry. - from running a wine shop in Hong Kong and buying wines across Europe for Oddbins , to working as Head of Marketing for Codorniu, one of the worlds oldest sparkling wine producers. Jo now runs Wine Savvy hosting wine schools in Tunbridge Wells , Forest Row and Sevenoaks as well as private tastings (which are perfect for a celebration ! )
So next time you are choosing a bottle from our shelves , you'll know there's plenty of experience and thought behind the selection.

For the past six years, Garry has been one of the friendly faces behind our post office counter.
He loves meeting people, keeping his mind active and helping to provide an important service for our community.
And we'd love to have more Garrys!
We are always looking for volunteers to join our team, you can give us as much or as little time as you can .
