Flix Therapy Hair Salon I use Mood Professional and Malibu washing products- personal to you and what you want out of your hair.

Flix Therapy making people feel beautiful on the inside and out, bringing my extensive knowledge from a home salon setting, advising on how external and internal factors affect hair health I am a hairdresser and beauty therapist who operates in a fully stocked professional Shed Salon in my garden

Professionally trained in both fields with extra training days to add extra services

I Use Mood Professional Products for Colouring/ Perming and styling - with individual styling products used on your hair to suit the type and achieve the maximum potential from you hair! Also i have a range of high quality styling equipment to suit all hair types

I only buy the best products and equipment and that is reflected in my prices, i am not the cheapest around but i believe the saying quality over quantity. Colour correction available price given on consultation. Bridal/party hair available on request. - for Bridal hair you will need a date agreed between us before your wedding for practice run, these will be included in the quotation price

Any colours that go on your scalp we will need to do a skin test 48 hours prior to your appointment. for all 'on scalp' colours skin tests will need to be done 48hrs prior to your treatment.

✨ A softer, cooler brunette transformation! 🤎✨

This lovely client came to me with a mixture of grey regrowth, old box dye, and previously bleached ends that had been coloured over. She knew one thing for sure… she wanted her hair to feel less warm! 🤍

After looking through some inspiration photos together, we decided on a slightly deeper root with lighter ends and a beautifully blended finish.

🎨 What we did: 🤎 Applied a level 6 ash shade to the roots, blending it through selected areas of the mid-lengths. ✨ Added highlights to create lighter pieces throughout. 🤍 Blended everything together at the basin to soften the contrast and gently tone the highlights.

The result? A gorgeous, dimensional brunette with cooler tones, soft highlights and a seamless blend between the root and ends! 😍

When you're working with a history of box dye and previous colour, it's all about choosing the right approach for the hair in front of you. Sometimes, the best result comes from combining techniques rather than applying one colour all over.

This client wanted to take her hair lighter and brighter, creating the perfect base for what’s coming next… 😍
We’ve got her colour moving in the right direction, and at the end of the month we’ll be ordering her extensions, ready for installation next month! 🤩

I’m so excited to see the final transformation once the extensions are in lighter, fuller and even more gorgeous! 💕✨

This client wanted to stay light and bright, but take away some of the warmer, brassy tones that had built up in the hair.

We refreshed the colour with a cooler, more neutral tone, keeping plenty of brightness while creating a softer, more balanced blonde. 🤍

The result? A cleaner, softer-looking blonde with more shine and a beautifully natural finish without taking her noticeably darker.

If your blonde has started looking a little too warm, brassy or dull, a toner can make a huge difference without needing to completely change your colour. ✨

One of my favourite things about creative colours is seeing how they fade over time!

This pink was originally applied back in May, and 4 months later it's faded into this beautiful soft, pastel pink while still leaving a lovely hint of colour throughout the blonde. 😍

No fresh pink application this time... just a little look at how this colour has worn over the months!

This client wanted to keep her blonde but take things up a notch with something a little more vibrant!

We added a darker colour alongside the blonde to create more depth and dimension, finished off with pops of electric pink and blue for a fun, creative colour transformation. 🌈

I love how the vibrant colours weave through the blonde, creating something that really stands out while still keeping plenty of movement and texture.

Sometimes a little colour is all you need to completely change your look! 😍

✨ Darker, richer & still full of dimension! 🤎✨

This client wanted to take her hair deeper and richer, but didn't want to lose all the beautiful movement and lighter tones.

So we created a deeper brunette base with lighter pieces running through the colour, giving her that gorgeous contrast and dimension without making the result look flat or one-dimensional.

And look at those curls! 😍 Styling the hair with definition really shows how beautifully those lighter pieces catch the light and move through the darker base.

A darker colour doesn't have to mean one solid shade adding carefully placed lighter pieces can make brunette hair look so much more dimensional and interesting. 🤎

This client came in with naturally very straight hair and wanted a completely different look — so we went for a men's perm to create this amazing head of curls! 🌀

A perm is such a great way to add texture, movement and volume to hair that naturally has very little of it. And the result can be tailored too... from loose waves to tighter, more defined curls.

I absolutely LOVE how much texture this has created! 😍

No before photo unfortunately, but trust me when I say this is a serious transformation from his naturally straight hair!

This one was all about the cut and blowdry... no colour needed! 💇‍♀️
We added plenty of shape and layers to remove some of the weight through the hair. With less weight pulling the hair down, her natural movement and curl should have much more opportunity to come through. 🤎

Sometimes it's not about adding something... it's about taking away the right amount in the right places.

And I absolutely love the movement in the finished result! 😍 The curls are already starting to bounce back, and with the right styling at home, we should see even more of that natural texture coming through.

Healthy hair isn't always about treatments and colour. Sometimes, a well-thought-out cut is all you need. ✂️✨
