Yogalates London Shopnow : https://getoffer4us.com/bluejeanns It's fun, too! It can be particularly beneficial for postnatal women.

Yogalates London is the home of Solomon Yogalates in the capital, combining core-stabilising Pilates and heart-opening yoga practices for a safe yet dynamic practice that is suitable for a wide variety of ages and abilities. An award-winning exercise system, Yogalates combines the effective, body conditioning mat-work of Pilates with regenerative ancient yoga practices; building strength, stamina,

tone and flexibility in the body whilst freeing the mind and soothing the nervous system through yogic breathing techniques. This energising fusion incorporates the latest scientific research into functional movement, back care and therapeutic exercise. Particular attention is paid to correct spinal alignment and strengthening of deep postural muscles to bring the whole body into balance. Yogalates is safe and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, even complete beginners and those with existing injuries. YIN YOGA:

Beth has also been teaching Yin Yoga since 2017, having participated in two immersive teacher trainings with the internationally renowned Yin teacher, Norman Blair. Involving long, slow holds in supported yoga postures (with props!), students can release deeply held tension in particularly tight areas such as the hamstrings, glutes, spine, hips and shoulders. This practice stimulates deeper connective tissues of the body, such as the fascia, ligaments and tendons, and can be well suited to those with tight muscles and/or restricted mobility. Yin can also be incredibly beneficial for clearing energy blocks in the body and soothing a busy mind. This practice not only creates space in the physical tissues, but also in the mind, relieving symptoms of stress and anxiety and encouraging a greater presence of mind. In this way, Yin Yoga can be a helpful introduction for those interested in mindfulness and meditation, and a great accompaniment to more dynamic and muscular Yogalates practice. ABOUT THE TEACHER:

Beth has practised yoga and Pilates for fifteen years and discovered Solomon Yogalates whilst touring abroad as an actress ten years ago. The intelligent yet challenging approach to combining these two disciplines quickly appealed, becoming part of her routine both on tour and back in London (a much needed respite from the city’s hectic pace!). Beth studied under the guidance of the method's founder Louise Solomon in 2014. Louise developed Yogalates in the early ’90's and has received worldwide success with her DVD series; voted #1 in the UK for health and fitness. Beth has been a qualified Yin Yoga teacher since 2017, having gained two teaching certifications with renowned Yin teacher Norman Blair. She runs regular Yin-focused 'Mini Retreat' day events during term time as well as annual international retreats. Beth is based in Hammersmith and teaches public Yogalates classes in Fulham, Hammersmith and St Margarets, private 1:1's upon request and corporate Yin & Yogalates. 🌟 Keep the Wonder Alive! 🌟

Ever wondered if we become less curious as we grow older? 🧐 The world is a magical place filled with mysteries and endless possibilities, and yet it can be all too easy to lose sight of that when we 'grow up'.

We were all curious kids once, so how can we keep that childlike wonder alive?

It's possible. I feel the most youthful adults are those who remain curious about the world we live in, and the beings in it, no matter their age. Those who find wonder even in the smallest things.

I love this quote by Colleen Hoover: "Keep an open mind; it's the only way new things can get in."

If you're feeling stuck in a rut, or your body is craving movement and a fresh start, I've got just the thing to help add a little pizazz to your week...

For this week only, you can join the second half of my current online term of live stream classes for just £97 (including over 250 pre-recorded classes).

Here's my current Zoom class timetable:

💫 Yin Yoga: Tuesdays, 8:15-9:15 PM
💫 Yogalates: Thursdays, 6:45-8:00 PM
💫 Hatha Yoga: Saturdays, 8:30-9:30 AM

You'll also gain 10 weeks access to my 'Autumn online hub', where you'll be able to explore a plethora of pre-recorded classes to dip in and out of all the way through the Christmas & New Year break, until early January.

Book in at www.yogalateslondon.com/livestream.

Staying youthful is not just about keeping active and mobile, of course. Can we stay open to new ideas, new ways of thinking, and new ways of being as we journey through life? What little things can we notice and appreciate?

Let's stay young-hearted curious, and active as the darker days descend!

I get emails ALL the time from yoga teachers like this lady who wrote to me last month...

"I’ve been ‘plagued’ with doubt lately as to whether yoga is enough for the students I teach. I’m uber aware that they need strength as well as flexibility & I just don’t feel I’m giving that to them."

The truth is, most yoga-related injuries result from musculoskeletal imbalances and a lack of physical strength & stability. As important as flexible hamstrings and a consistent meditation practice are, it's vital to keep our joints happy, our bones strong and our soft tissues in tip-top condition as we age.

If you're a yoga teacher and this is strongly resonating, I urge you to consider bagging one of the final places on my next 80 hour ‘Expand your teaching with Yogalates’ CPD training, starting in just ten days' time.

Registrations close TONIGHT! ⏳⏰

It is my absolute passion project to help yoga teachers fluidly incorporate deep strengthening Pilates and resistance training into their classes, whilst supporting them in further developing their anatomy knowledge and practically applying this knowledge to their classes in an easy-to-understand way.

I won't be running this course again until later in 2024, so if this feels like the right move for you and your business (many of my graduates have launched successful Yogalates classes within three months of starting the training), let me know if I can answer any final questions for you.

Check out the three bonus extras you'll receive with this course, plus the four-part payment plan option here: www.yogalateslondon.com/ytt 💪

I've spent most of the past week in bed with covid, and it's astonishing how you can lose whole days when you're really sick.

I felt well enough to go for a gentle walk yesterday with regular pauses to sit and enjoy the warmth of the sun on my face. It was precious slow time and I felt so, so grateful and happy. No mud, no lotus, after all (RIP Thich Nhat Hanh).

Classes will resume as normal starting tomorrow before the half term break next week.
Join me if you can:

🪷 Tuesday Yogalates (@ Crossway, Twickenham) - 6.45-8pm
🪷 Tuesday Yin Yoga (online) - 8.15-9.15pm
🪷 Thursday Yogalates (online) - 6.45-8pm
🪷 Saturday Yoga (online) - 8.30-9.30am

“Draw alongside the silence of stoneUntil its calmness can claim you.Be excessively gentle with yourself.Learn to linger around someone of ease
Who feels they have all the time in the world.
Gradually, you will return to yourself,Having learned a new respect for your heart
And the joy that dwells far within slow time.”

- John O’Donohue, from "Blessings"

Feeling the tension of the week? Let me draw you a gong bath! 🛁 💆

Also known as gong sound therapy, or gong meditation, gong baths are my new favourite self-care practice. Contrary to what it might sound like, there's no water involved!

Well, unless you count your own body, which is mostly water (an average of 60%). This is important, because the vibrations of the gong have a significant impact on your cells, and there are HEAPS of benefits...

💤 Reduces built up stress & anxiety
🌙 Helps regulate a frazzled nervous system
😌 Shifts stuck energy and releases emotional blockages
🧘 Enhances mental clarity, concentration and focus
😴 Improves sleep

Ready to dive in?

Join myself and for a special yoga & gong mini retreat in East Twickenham this Sunday evening (just a 10 minute walk from Richmond station), and unlock a world of restorative bliss for mind, body and spirit. 🎶✨

It's that time again! 😁 My fourth online Yogalates teacher training course starts at the end of this month, and there are just three places left.

Committing to a new training can be a big deal, which is why I'd like to extend an invitation your way...

If you're a qualified yoga teacher interested in offering more strength work and resistance training to your students, I'll be leading a 45 minute info session this Wednesday online. You can get your questions answered and find out if Yogalates is a good fit for your continued teaching development.

I'll share with you a short Yogalates sequence and highlight why this dynamic combination of yoga & Pilates has been filling my classes and retreats for the past nine years, and why students keep showing up year after year.

There's a whopping £100 saving on this training right now (offer ends this Friday), plus you get access to not one but THREE awesome early bird bonuses when you register this week.

Join my free info session (& receive the replay if you can't make it live) via joining the mailing list. Just tick 'teacher training' here: https://view.flodesk.com/pages/643fbc10ec1bffac09f53daa

✨🌟 This time next week 🌟✨

Those Sunday evening blues can be pesky, especially as the days begin to get shorter. If you're in the London area, why not retreat with us next Sunday?

and I will be co-facilitating a one-off Yin, Yoga Nidra & gong bath event, crafted specifically so you can feel super chilled out, get a great night's sleep and sail into a new week feeling nourished, grounded and restored.

In a world that seems to run at a helter-skelter pace, next Sunday's event retreat will offer you the space to pause, slow down and put down that heavy load that we're all carrying.

Since discovering the power of sound healing several years ago, it's now one of my favourite self-care practices, and I make sure to go regularly. It astonishes me how powerfully a session can transform my mood, energy and physical experience of my body!

No yoga experience needed. 😊

'Retreat to Restore': Yoga & gong retreat
Sunday 8th October
7-9.15pm
The Crossway @ St Stephen’s Church,
East Twickenham
