We had a busy time in the shop last week with some really lovely new home accessories arriving into stock. With September now nearly upon us we are starting to see our plans for autumn and dare I say Christmas come to life. Personally I can’t wait for wooly jumpers, scarves, boots and log burners :). Have a lovely long bank holiday weekend everyone x

Well here he is 💙 …. let me introduce you to “Beau”. Just over eight weeks old and already bringing so much joy into our lives, we absolutely adore him and feel truly blessed to have found him. So many adventures ahead “little man” and I can’t wait to share them with you all. Somehow I think our beloved Buddy had a say in bringing you to us 💔.

A quick look around some sections of the shop this week.
We are open today Saturday 10-5 and tomorrow Sunday 11-3.
The High Street is very very quiet and we are starting to really miss all our lovely customers 😞 so please do pop in and say hello!

Just some of the fabulous pieces of artwork from now available in store. Unsurprisingly they are proving very popular with our customers 🤍.
My apologies but we will be closed Sunday 7th June but open on Monday 8th instead. I am away at the moment and just get the cover to open tomorrow ☹️.

Please note that our Summer Opening Hours, and whilst I am away working on a project, will be as follows:

From Monday 1st June
Monday : Closed
Tuesday : Closed
Wednesday : Open 10am - 5pm
Thursday : Open 10am - 5pm
Friday : Open 10am - 5pm
Saturday : Open 10am - 5pm
Sunday: Open 11am - 3pm

My brilliant team, Julie, Jenny, Lyn or Tina will be in the shop Wednesday-Sunday as usual. I am in touch with the team on a daily basis but should you need to talk to me I can be contacted via our email [email protected], our social media pages, our website or you can leave a message with one of the team and I will get back to you asap. The sun was definitely shining on Lindfield today with the wonderful news that for so many reasons our beautiful and very special village has been awarded the top place to live in the South East of England. Our High Street has so many fabulous independent business and I’m sure we will all hugely benefit from the publicity generated. Exciting times ahead for sure!
Following our brief and successful furniture sale last week I can now share with you some photos featuring some of the super new pieces delivered to the shop this week. Our website will be updated shortly in the meantime just dm me if there is anything you are interested in.

Well what a year 2025 turned out to be! I can’t lie personally it was a very challenging year indeed ending with the loss of our beloved Buddy 💔. Thank you to everyone who sent such lovely messages and I’m sorry I haven’t said thank you individually I am struggling to write about him without welling up 😥.
The build at the cottage went from a simple extension to a complete renovation and what was supposed to be a three month project turned into a nine month drama and it still isn’t finished 😩. We moved out to our other building site in Guernsey and stayed over there for seven months which did give us some valuable extra time to work on the house. Buddy bless him loved Guernsey and thrived in the sunshine and spent his days mooching around the fields scavenging for every kind of animal poo he could find 😂. I have to thank my fabulous Team Pepperbox, Julie, Jenny and Lyn who kept everything looking beautiful and running so smoothly in my absence, where would I be without you 😍. I know I have said it before and nothing has been forthcoming but I will post photos of both projects soon - just need to find time to put everything in order!! In the meantime just sharing some photos of the shop today, looking a little more spring like and oh how we could all do with some spring sunshine! Sarah x
