Just some of the fabulous pieces of artwork from now available in store. Unsurprisingly they are proving very popular with our customers 🤍.
My apologies but we will be closed Sunday 7th June but open on Monday 8th instead. I am away at the moment and just get the cover to open tomorrow ☹️.

Wednesday : Open 10am - 5pm
Thursday : Open 10am - 5pm
Friday : Open 10am - 5pm
Saturday : Open 10am - 5pm
Sunday: Open 11am - 3pm

My brilliant team, Julie, Jenny, Lyn or Tina will be in the shop Wednesday-Sunday as usual. The sun was definitely shining on Lindfield today with the wonderful news that for so many reasons our beautiful and very special village has been awarded the top place to live in the South East of England. Our High Street has so many fabulous independent business and I’m sure we will all hugely benefit from the publicity generated. Exciting times ahead for sure!
Following our brief and successful furniture sale last week I can now share with you some photos featuring some of the super new pieces delivered to the shop this week. Our website will be updated shortly in the meantime just dm me if there is anything you are interested in.

Well what a year 2025 turned out to be! I can’t lie personally it was a very challenging year indeed ending with the loss of our beloved Buddy 💔. Thank you to everyone who sent such lovely messages and I’m sorry I haven’t said thank you individually I am struggling to write about him without welling up 😥.
The build at the cottage went from a simple extension to a complete renovation and what was supposed to be a three month project turned into a nine month drama and it still isn’t finished 😩. We moved out to our other building site in Guernsey and stayed over there for seven months which did give us some valuable extra time to work on the house. Buddy bless him loved Guernsey and thrived in the sunshine and spent his days mooching around the fields scavenging for every kind of animal poo he could find 😂. I have to thank my fabulous Team Pepperbox, Julie, Jenny and Lyn who kept everything looking beautiful and running so smoothly in my absence, where would I be without you 😍. I know I have said it before and nothing has been forthcoming but I will post photos of both projects soon - just need to find time to put everything in order!! In the meantime just sharing some photos of the shop today, looking a little more spring like and oh how we could all do with some spring sunshine! Sarah x

A few images from around the shop today 😃. We have had some lovely new bits and bobs in along with of course our Christmas offerings. We won’t be having anymore Christmas deliveries so once it’s gone it’s gone so pop in soon to avoid disappointment.

Now a little apology from me for not posting any updates on developments at our house in Guernsey and indeed progress of the build at our cottage here in Sussex. Neither have gone to plan and to be honest what was supposed to a lovely three month adventure in Guernsey turned out to be a sixth month nightmare!! Having now returned to the UK we are still unable to live in the cottage and therefore taking refuge in a lovely little air B&B. Not sure we have ever been as stressed but the best news is that our beautiful Buddy (now 13 and a half) has kept us going with his endless kisses, snuggles and waggy tails. I will post photos when I have got some kind of order back in our lives. All that is left to say is the the biggest thank you to my fabulous team for looking after the shop in my absence, I was in touch daily but I know only too well how much work goes into running the shop and Julie, Jenny and Lyn I can’t thank you enough for going over and above for me, you are a dream team 🥰 ###x

Back in 2006 when we opened our doors for the first time on a sunny Saturday morning in November our very first customer through the door was a lovely lady by the name of Tina .linen. Some nineteen years later and now a very good friend to us all she continues to create the most beautiful hand embroidered lavender bags, exquisite needle cases and an utterly charming collection of hand painted greeting cards. Thank you Tina ♥️
