You're just going to have to imagine today's post because it's too hot and I can't think of anything to say other than: pfffffffff...... 🥵

Just picture in your head that I've posted something funny and enlightening, and maybe a bit thought provoking too.

And I'd also like to apologise in advance for anything I may say today that seems a bit ratty: I'm hot, my clothes are annoying me, and my fringe is stuck to my face. 🤬

I spent all Tuesday thinking it was Wednesday, all of Wednesday thinking it was Thursday - and today most DEFINITELY feels like a Friday. This means either:

A) I'm losing the plot, or
B) I'm very much ON the plot and someone has added a day to this week and not told anyone, and I'm the only person to notice this and am now wondering if it's aliens or something and I think I might have to start a conspiracy theory about it and wondering who I need to report this to...

Anyhoo, Happy 'Thursyay' (which really doesn't have the same ring to it) 😭

OK, look I'll be honest with you...

Today’s social media strategy is:
✔️ Post something
✔️ Keep algorithm happy
✔️ Tick something off list

I actually love sharing things on social media, taking time out to find something inspirational, useful, funny or interesting to show you.

But some days...
🤪 I'm really busy.
🤔 I don't know what to post.
🙈 I feel I'm showing up because 'the rules' tell me I should.

They talk about organic content for organic growth, but there's nothing 'organic' about wracking your brains when you're not feeling it or you have other things to do. 🌱

You get this, I'm certain of it!

So honestly, this is today's post for you - boring yes, but algorithm gods appeased.

It feel like we're in that in-between season right now - spring almost gone, summer almost here... warm enough to leave your coat at home, but still chilly enough to enjoy a cosy evening. 🌸🌿

This time of year is all about simple pleasures I think - those little moments of joy at a time when you fancy stretching your wings, and curling up with a book, all at the same time!

POV: When you can’t wait for warmer days, but you hate it when it gets over 20°. ☀️

At least I’m secure in my choice of sweatshirt today (it’s so hard to know what to wear at this time of year!). I’ve decided to enter the upcoming warmer months with ambition, optimism, a carefully curated relationship with the shade, and a nice fan. 🤞

Anyone else excited for summer right up until they actually feel too warm?

So, here's a fun fact for you: you probably already know that June has long been one of the most popular months to get married - but did you know it even takes its name from Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage? 💍💐

I know, I know… we’re still in May. But if you've been invited to a summer wedding, now is the perfect time to start thinking about a gift. 👌

The bluebells are in bloom (actually, I really fancy going for a bluebell walk this weekend 😊 …), I've got the washing on the line and the garden is all lovely and green - although I think I'm an autumn/winter girlie at heart, there's something truly magical about these spring days. 🌿🌷🐝

The simple joys - like asparagus season - definitely feel like something to celebrate, don't you think?

I've had to help 2 of the hugest, fattest bumble bees out of the kitchen in the last few days - weirdly I don't feel scared of bees and find myself talking to them like they understand me! 🤭

Maybe it's the longer evenings, the sunny days that have some actual warmth in them, or just the feeling that everything has woken up... either way, I'm loving it! What about you?! 💚
