The monthly Sunday markets are back in Market Place, Great Dunmow from September to December.

Come along and support the local businesses who will be open, as well as all the lovely craft stalls.

Back to school feelings for me today - after a lovely 5 days with my youngest in Majorca (while daddy played golf in soggy Oxford!), it’s back in the shop getting ready for the last few busy months of 2026.

Where has the year gone??

I love this ‘new term’ feeling and actually find it more inspiring and energetic than the January, new year, new start vibe.

Lots and lots of new projects on the go - interior design, property staging and shop developments - as well as my exciting new role as Co-chair of Great Dunmow Town Team.

Looking forward to bringing everything together! ☺️

We have finally found a fantastic supplier of rugs!

From plain to patterned, modern to traditional, runners to outdoor - we can offer something for everyone.

Contact us with your requirements and we can send you images and prices. We will even order a rug for you with no obligation to buy it!

Reasonably priced and great quality.

We are open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30-5 and Sundays 10-2.

HOWEVER, we will be closed 13th & 14th August and 27th-31st August.

The Sunday markets are back in Dunmow! First one is Sunday 6th September 2026.

⭐EXCITING NEWS ⭐

I am pleased to announce that we have (at last!) got the go ahead for 4 Sunday markets on the first Sunday in September, October, November AND December in Market Place, Great Dunmow.

We have a number of the regular stall holders from last year returning, but do need a couple more. Please get in touch if you would like a stall - HOWEVER, we don't want to duplicate stalls, and also don't want to tread on the toes of the town centre businesses, so we DON'T need;

❎ Bakery
❎ Jewellery
❎ Food vendors
❎ Wood carvings
❎ Ladies clothes

We would love;

✅ Fruit & veg
✅ Fish stall
✅ Olives
✅ Children's clothes

Or anything a bit more obscure!

Sometimes you need to get away from work & eat, drink and be merry with friends!

Mr Kerridge and all his establishments didn’t disappoint and we received such a wonderful welcome at .

Back to reality tomorrow, but for now, the weekend continues……

We are open 9.30-5 Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday 10-2.
