🚙 CUSTOMERS CORNER — YODA’S CLASSIC SERIES 2 & THE 'SPECTRE'! 🚙

​There is nothing quite like traditional ropework on iconic British iron! We absolutely love seeing our handcrafted lines fitted to classic rigs, and this setup is a real head-turner.

​A big thank you to our customer, Yoda , for sharing this fantastic photo of his 1960 Land Rover Series 2 88" (2.25 petrol). That classic patina paired with traditional ropework is an absolute match made in heaven.

​Yoda picked up one of our 4.5m 'Spectre' ropes , hand-spliced right here at Severn Ropes. It’s made using premium 20mm 3-strand spun polyester manufactured in the UK by English Braids —giving you that timeless, traditional look with modern performance. It will never rot and packs serious strength for its diameter, making it as functional as it is handsome.

​Just look at that fantastic wrap job across the front bumper—it finishes off the front end of this Series 2 perfectly! 👌

Getting ready for the NSA Sheep Event at the Three Counties Showground! 🐑

Here’s a quick look behind the scenes at making up a fresh batch of 6mm high-performance synthetic winch lines for ATVs and quad bikes.
Stronger, lighter, and much safer to handle than steel wire—built to tackle whatever the farm throws at them.

We’ll have these and our full range of agricultural ropes on display at Malvern. Drop by the stand 104 to check them out in person, grab some custom gear, or just have a chat!

Full throttle, 24 tons, and zero drama! 💥

Huge thanks to the Forest of Dean Tractor Pulling Club for putting on an incredible show. An even bigger shoutout to Andy and his competition tractor Big Girl for doing everything they could to try and destroy our Severn Ropes 16mm soft shackle. 🚜💨

Knowing that sled was hooked up with our Soft Shackle to a competition-spec Detroit Diesel two-stroke engine just made the whole experience even more exhilarating.

The massive, immediate power delivery from that legendary engine was the ultimate stress test.

Seeing our gear hold firm under that kind of load was incredibly satisfying and exhilarating. 🤝

Built to handle it, tested to prove it.
