I read a quote recently that said, “Imagine missing out on a creative life because you thought you had to be good at it.”

Any other perfectionists out there feel that at the soul level?! 🥹

The more I put pen to paper as a way to disconnect from my screens, the more I know this to be true. It’s not about creating the perfect sketch, poem or page of beautiful handwriting. It’s about giving yourself ten minutes to make something that didn’t exist before, for no other reason than it feels good in the moment.

So this is your permission, friend. Go use the wrong paper, use the wrong pen. Draw like you’re five. Just get off your phone and go create something ♥️
