We had great fun last night running with our friends from Wallingford Triathlon Club and Run Wallingford for our BunkFest social run 🎶🏃🏻‍♂️👨🏻‍🎤🏃‍♀️🧑🏻‍🎤🏃🏻‍♂️🎶

We ended up for refreshments snd live music Cross Keys Wallingford 🍻🎶

I was lucky enough to win the Winterbrook Estate Agents BunkFest give away competition so I went and bought myself and Mr Davis Bryn Davis 2026 BunkFest T shirts and Bunkfest glasses with my winnings 🥳

Last night was a very special evening as I was invited to launch the new Cycling Without Age Wallingford Trike named Malcolm after and in memory of my dad who passed away in February 😇

Dad became the “poster boy” for CWA and will forever be remembered ❤️

Dad was the first resident from his care home to get out and about with the amazing founder of CWA in Wallingford Mick to feel the wind in his hair!
Dads life long friend joined him on these trips out and they got to visit their old haunts as they were keen walkers of the Thames Path/Ridgeway with a pub stop 🍻
Cycling without Age is an amazing charity who enables people to get out of their home or care home and reconnect with nature and their communities 🌳

Dad was to arrive by trike on my wedding day in May, when he passed Mick honoured the day with taking me to and from my wedding venue making the day extra special 👰🏼‍♀️

Runwize ladies were excited to run across the Kinecroft to check out the start of the set up for BunkFest 🎶

We were treated to a beautiful sunset as we ran cross country through the fields 🌾

Did I mention that I got a 50k PB last weekend? Sub 5 hours - 4:48 resulting in a podium place as 2nd lady! 🥳

I did put in hours of effort in training even in the heat but I didn’t see that coming! I’m 55 this year and really didn’t think I could get faster! Thank you to my lovely husband for always encouraging me and believing in my running ability ❤️

Bryn (my lovely husband-56 years young) was 3rd overall! 🥳

Maybe we are aging like fine wines? 🍷

Highly recommend the brilliantly organised Relish Running 2 Tunnels Ultra in Bath 🚂

Last nights Runwize Ladies social was a bit different…we split into 2 groups with one group participating in a training session supporting a runner gain her RunTogether Leader in Running Fitness qualification 👏🏼

My legs feel nearly back to normal after Sunday’s race 👊🏻
