Empty medicine blister packs are the item almost nobody knows what to do with, so they nearly always end up in general waste.

We now have a collection point for them at 17&Central, outside Boots. Bring your empties along on your next visit and pop them in!

One small thing, and a whole category of waste stops going to landfill. ♻️

Recycle Week starts today, and the headline belongs to everyone who shops here. Across 17&Central this year, 196 tonnes of waste has been recycled, saving 716 trees and 507,673 kWh of energy.

Plus - there's a £100 gift voucher in it for one of you this week! Recycle something at the centre, take a photo, then share it publicly on your feed tagging with . Entries close Sunday 20 September and the winner is announced on Monday 21 September.

Stuck for ideas? The TRAID clothing bank, the Book Swap, blister pack recycling, batteries at Asda, retailer take-back schemes for beauty, tech and clothing, and our pop-ups on Tuesday and Thursday.
