This time last week we were busy flowering the Tythe Barn at Weddings at Tewinbury 🤍 for Ailish & Liams wedding day ✨🌸

A gorgeous late summer colour palette with contrasting soft peach & blush tones with strong pinks & deep berry colours was a match made in heaven!! And it worked beautifully in the rustic barn 🌸

Bud vases are still having their moment - we added so many touches and textures from our flower patch for this wedding! Including our home grown panicum grass that added that whimsical touch that we love ❤️

Matching plinths that we hired from our flower friend Lady Green Leaves

Every single arrangement was repurposed from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast 🌸

The meadows that lined the aisle were moved to the front of the top table and the end of the guest tables ✨

Thursday to Saturday, it has been a very busy week and beyond this we’ve had funerals & bouquet orders to get through. Thanks SO much for everyone’s support and for choosing us 🥹

Niamh & Alex 🌻✨🌸

The perfect colourful, wild flower wedding! And no ceremony table is set without at least one gorgeous arrangement 😍 this was then moved over to their top table which was already lined with colourful bud vases ✨

Blake Hall are the most helpful team & always so helpful when repurposing arrangements from the ceremony to the reception! This one had already been used for Niamh & Alex’s early ceremony that was just for close friends and family 🥰

Bud vases lined the tables in Blake Halls Essex Barn. This is not their usual set up but we loved it as felt it really suited the shape of the room ✨and the different heights of the bud vases looked fab

It’s been a while since we introduced ourselves… 🌸✨

We are Holly & Mary-Jane 👋

Up until 2022 we both had our own flower businesses but since meeting randomly in our wholesalers during lockdown - we instantly bonded over our love of natural floristry & our keen interest in growing our own!

Fast forward to now, we have been in business as Wilde Hill for 3.5 years flowering countless weddings, events, funerals & more. We’ve also been growing flowers together for that whole time and have recently moved our flower patch (for the 3rd & final time 😬🙏🏻) to our workshop location in High Cross, Ware.

Mary-Jane (more commonly known as MJ) is in charge of the growing patch & all things to do with our own grown flowers, we will soon be launching a new instagram where she will be posting all of the flower growing side of things including tips & progress videos!

Holly is in charge of all of your weddings & events as well as social media.

We’re currently working on our new website which will be launching soon 👀

Hooray for peony season 😍🌸🙌🏻

Actually, hooray for peonies & ranunculus being in season at the SAME TIME!

We loved being back at the glorious for Leah & Pad’s wedding day 🥰 who were kind enough to leave us this review the very next day 🥹

“These two ladies are amazing! Warm, friendly & extremely talented - we couldn’t be happier with our wedding flowers. Mary-Jane and Holly brought our vision to life but in a way that was even better! We had a rough idea of flowers we wanted to include based on what was in season but the colours, textures and structure to each piece were just so beautiful. The flowers completed elevated our day in every way (our venue, bridesmaid dresses, etc) & we’d recommend anybody we know to go with Wildehill for their special occasions! 🤍“

POV: you’re a florist with a workshop on a farm 🐶🐓🌸

No captions on this but if you don’t want to hear a sound that resembles a cat being strangled, keep the volume on low 😬

For context: Joan is the farm chicken.

MJ loves all animals probably more than people & Holly - NOT a fan 😂

You never know what you’re going to capture when you set the tripod up at our workshop & Joan is literally always causing havoc 😆

But isn’t the bouquet gorgeous 🙌🏻😍

Last summer we had the pleasure of creating the flowers for this exquisite wedding at Fanhams Hall 🌸

We re used as much as we could from the ceremony for the reception in The Great Hall and stayed on site so we were on hand to make sure the turnaround process went as smoothly as possible ☺️
