Thank you for the fab paints, which I have used to decorate my bench🌟 I have added the colours next to my details.

I started with the Bleo, using two colours the River blue and emerald green. I used a sponge to get the effect I wanted with some water so it looked like water. It created a wonderful stain into the 400 year old oak floor boards, leaving the natural wood to shine through. It looks like ripples in the water which I wanted to achieve🌊

I added a white on top of the Bleo so my colors would pop to add my details. 🖌️The gold guild is the best gold paint I have ever used, because you can get a strong vibrant colour or water it down to get a shimmer which I have used in the water. The paints are easy to use and mix if needed.⭐️

Part 1 of my bench design for the Ware to Hertford river art trail🌟

First step was to paint the base of my bench - I tried to make the colour similar to a river and I loved how it turned out🩵

Even though my bench will not be installed, you can still see all the components:
🌟 the top seated area has been painted with a kingfisher, a Ruddy darter dragonfly and lillie’s all from the location in Hertford by the Barge pub ( I’m the last bench where the drinks will be)
🧚 The base is tree stumps decorated with clay fairy doors, windows, flowers and toadstools.

I appreciate this hasn’t been easy for and Cllr Vicky Glover-Ward as my first location and bench did not belong to the Council. They have worked hard to find me a location and Cllr Vicky has even given me her 400 year old oak floorboards for my slats! Thank you so much🩵
I have enjoyed painting, creating my clay and appreciating the beautiful wildlife and nature we have locally.
