New finished project alert…!
We just wanted to share with you some images of the new education block. We were asked by the contractor to come up with a saving for the client. Here are the results and doesn’t it look like an absolutely stunning building to continue your education in.

Just thought we would share some images of a project that we were involved with. This is a brand new teaching space for a local agricultural college which will allow around about 70 new students to study here. If you would like to know any of the systems or luminaires used on this project please send us a message.

Events from small weddings to huge music festivals and everything in between are having to put on hold for the time being until life as we used to know it gets back to some sort of normality. Event organisers will need to plan these events better and greener. One of the ways this can happen is by using Solar energy.
Instead of hiring in diesel generators and laying hundreds or thousands of metres of cable to guide people across the sites simply install a solar column. Our energy towers can provide free energy to run led festoon lights for the temporary bars, outside dining areas, pathways and heavy circulation areas, temporary vehicle routes, road ways and car parks, wash areas and changing rooms to name some of the applications solar lighting could be used in.

Would you now consider ☀ solar lighting over an ‘on grid’ traditional led solution…?

For installation placement & optimal harvesting here is some advice on what to consider below :-

A) If your product has the solar panels built into each side of the column like the very architectural looking ‘Merkur’ then positioning the columns isn’t a worry. If you are buying a solution that is more cost effective and functional like the ’Protos’ then positioning the solar panel in a ‘South-facing’ orientation.

B)Consider obstruction like other buildings and trees. The panel’s positions will need to be calculated so that it harness every the last bit of the suns energy. Building shadow and tress with dense foliage should be avoided.

C)Angle of the panels. We would advise on the correct product to use would depended on just where the site is, hour much light would be used, built in autonomy time for winter usage, radar controls for cycle lanes, any environmental considerations

D)Soiling (avian strikes on the solar panel). It is essential that you build in a ‘cleaning time’ into your maintenance schedule so it keeps your panels supplying the maximum amount of solar energy at peak operational efficiency.

E)Quality. Using monocrystalistion solar panels provides the most high-efficient solar panels that harvests the solar energy provides the the peak

Now that the new website is up & running (yay!)
we thought we would share some of the amazing products with you.... Starting off with Solar lighting in a historic application..!
Here is a project some may recognise from a screen saver... this historic castle is in Germany and its called Castle NEUSCHWANSTEIN. The circulation area of this site needed to be lit throughout the year. The obstacle being it was impossible to dig a trench for ducting and laying the electrical cables to connect it to the nearest supply.
The solar lighting system used in this application can be found here
