I’m Melissa...I am the designer and maker at Jopp. I design and make hand-crafted clay and resin jewellery, inspired by pattern, colour, architecture and texture in my Cheshire home studio. I love experimenting with new colour combinations, textures and medium to make each piece of jewellery beautifully bespoke. One of my greatest passions is teaching; passing on skills to eager crafters and makers. Nothing gives me more joy than seeing someone discover a craft they truly love. I have a BA hons in Textile Design and a PGCE in Secondary Art and Design and have spent many years running fun and sociable craft workshops around Manchester and Cheshire. I’m a mama to two, extremely active young boys, and spend my evenings ‘creating and crafting’ when they are tucked up in bed.
