Visiting Dorrington House - Watton is always such a special experience and very close to our hearts. Hayley goes above and beyond to make every visit feel so welcoming and we are so grateful for her warmth and care.

We’ve been visiting the same residents for three years now, all of which do not have any visitors all year long. It’s truly an honor to spend time with them and sometimes, even bring a tear to their eyes. Moments like these remind us how powerful a little kindness and company can be. Thank you Hayley for hosting us! 🫶🏻

Today we swapped the shop floor for the car and headed out on the road, delivering hampers straight to doorsteps. 🚗🎁

There’s just something about knocking on a door, handing over a hamper and seeing the reaction up close really kicks our Christmas spirit into full swing. The kids have soaked up every single moment these last few days and talked of the ‘butterflies’ in their tummies, they realised that those butterflies are really just that warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you know you’re about to do something kind. That little flutter of excitement mixed with care and happiness — the feeling that comes from giving, not expecting anything back. Seeing them recognise that feeling, name it and understand where it comes from has made this even more special. It’s a feeling I hope they carry with them for a long time. I know I will. ❤️

I often say, and I mean it…that it’s almost selfish why I do these hampers, because the feeling it gives me is unlike anything else. It fills my heart in a way that’s hard to put into words and today was another reminder of just how powerful a small act of kindness can be.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported us, encouraged us and helped make this possible. We’re so grateful, and we’re carrying every smile, every thank you and every emotional moment with us as we head into the rest of the Christmas season!

What a truly heartwarming day ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today possible. From the incredible support from Tesco Watton, to all those who stopped for a chat, shared kind words, or helped point us in the direction of someone who might appreciate a little Christmas surprise — we are so grateful.

The children enjoyed today more than ever. As they get older, they’re really starting to understand and appreciate the reactions we see, which is just lovely to watch. We were met with so many smiles, so much appreciation and yes…several criers 🥹 — emotional in the moment, but exactly the warm, fuzzy feeling we hope these hampers bring.

We’ll be back at it tomorrow, but on the road this time, delivering hampers straight to doorsteps! 🚗🎁

🎄 We’re at Tesco Watton today! 🎄

Today we’ll be in Tesco Watton handing out Christmas hampers to elderly members of our community.

A huge thank you to Tesco Watton, who have kindly donated a member of staff to help spot those who regularly come into store and may appreciate a little Christmas surprise! 🎁

Please come and have a chat with us while you’re shopping, and don’t forget to pop a nomination into our postbox if you have an elderly relative, neighbour or friend who you feel would benefit from a surprise Christmas hamper, delivered by my children and myself ❤️

We’ll also be spreading Christmas cheer with mince pies for the grown-ups and chocolates for the kiddos 🍫🥧

✨ Last Day for Tesco Trolley Donations – Tomorrow! ✨

Tomorrow is the final day to donate at Tesco Watton, and we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has already given so generously. Every single donation, big or small, truly makes a difference and is so deeply appreciated.

If you’re popping into Tesco tomorrow and are able to add something to the donation trolley, it would mean the world. Thank you for your kindness, support and community spirit. At the end of every shop, my children have sprinted with excitement to see what treats have been piling in, it really has been heart-warming to see!

We want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to Pat who very kindly hand-made 55 beautiful Christmas cards to go with our hampers – every single one thoughtfully designed and lovingly crafted. What makes this even more remarkable is that she did all of this while she was unwell. It’s an absolutely amazing achievement and a wonderful example of kindness and dedication.

Thank you, Pat, for going above and beyond – your generosity and creativity are deeply appreciated and won’t be forgotten. 🎄✨

✨ Our home-based workshop is officially open! ✨

This evening, the children and I have been busy wrapping hampers together, filling our home with laughter, teamwork and a whole lot of gratitude. In just under 2.5 hours, we managed to wrap 16 hampers — a small dent, but we’re hopeful we can reach last year’s target of 50! 🙏🏼

A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated. Packing these hampers is incredibly special, knowing that none of this would be possible without your kindness and generosity. Me and the children get to experience these moments, learn the value of giving and be part of something meaningful — all because of you.

We’re looking for shredded paper donations! 🎁📦

The children & I have been busy putting together our suprise Christmas hampers for the elderly and need clean, unused shredded paper to help keep everything packed safely and looking lovely. This can be standard shredded office paper or shredded tissue paper — both are perfect!

If you or your workplace have any spare, we’d be so grateful for your donation. You can drop it off anytime, or send us a message and we’ll happily arrange collection.

Hello Watton.

As many of you may/may not know, every year my children and I put together surprise Christmas hampers for elderly residents who might be spending Christmas on their own. This year, we’ve been trying to reach out to Sandra Di**le who is organising a Christmas Day meal for those who will be alone, we would like to get in touch with her so we can make sure no one gets overlooked.

We’ve reached out privately but haven’t been able to make contact yet. So I’m posting here in hopes that she will see this and can get in touch to share lists & coordinate so everyone in our community is cared for.

We want to make sure that no one in our area is left without company or a little cheer on Christmas Day. If you know of somebody that would be grateful of a surprise delivery, please drop me a message to nominate them. Let’s make sure everyone is included this year! 🎅🏼
