After 18 wonderful years of trading in Wednesbury, Sue’s Traditional Sweets will be closing its doors on Saturday 21st February.

What started as a dream for Sue and John — to open and run their very own sweet shop — grew into a place filled with laughter, familiar faces, and countless memories. Many of you will remember Sue’s warm smile and her love for serving customers. Sadly, she passed away in 2013, but her spirit has always remained at the heart of the shop.

Since then, John has continued running the business, keeping Sue’s memory alive and building strong friendships with customers and fellow shopkeepers along the way. Your support over the years has meant everything.

To everyone who popped in for a bag of sweets, a friendly chat, or simply to support a local dream — thank you. You’ve been part of our story, and we’re truly grateful.

Please feel free to stop by before we close for one last visit, a goodbye, or just a familiar smile.
