US DURING PROM SEASON 🤯😂🫪

It’s been a crazy few months but I am glad to say our final prom dress has been picked up and gone to our lovely customer 👏

Thank you SO much as always for all our customers, dress makers, dress stockists, schools and anyone else who recommends us for prom alterations - we couldn’t do it without you all!

This customer came to us with a dress they had purchased online and wanted a few bespoke adjustments to make it the perfect fit and added shoulder pads to make it a little extra!

A short story 😂😂😂

We love every single one of our customers, including all the last minute Larry’s 🤪😂 We know life gets hectic, which is why we’ll ALWAYS do our best to get your alterations done as quickly as possible (sometimes even same day 👀)

BUT… we made this video because people don’t always realise what goes into even a simple alteration ✂️

This usually includes:

* chatting through what you want
* fitting and pinning the item
* completing the alteration itself
* ⁠plus all the business costs we have like rent, wages, insurance 🙈

So when we’re up against fast fashion, this is why an alteration can sometimes cost more than the item itself 👀

This isn’t us having a moan, just hopefully a little insight into the seamstress life that gives you a laugh 😂
