Vintage Pearls 1940s Faux Vintage Pearls - 70 years and older - classic graduated pearl necklaces Discovered with the pearls were invoices dated 1940 and 1941.

All pearls were part of a consignment found on the premises of a Birmingham jewellery manufacturer that closed at the turn of the century. Silk could not be used for commercial purposes during the war so the pearls were strung on cotton. Vintage Pearls restring on silk thread with sterling silver or gold clasps.

Pearls, leather and an old worn soft shirt(washed a 100 times but you still won't get rid of it) - comfy, slightly 'I don't care' favourite look!
