Evening everyone, it is with a heavy heart I have to share something important with you all.

After speaking with my doctor, I have been advised to slow down and look after a health issue that needs my attention. Because of this, I have had to make the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Witchy Winter Wonderland.

This has not been an easy choice and I am honestly heartbroken. I put so much love into creating this event and I was really looking forward to holding this space with you. But I also know I need to listen to my body and let myself rest properly.

Refunds have already been issued, so you should see the money return to your account over the next few days.

This is not the end though. The Witchy Winter Wonderland will return next year, hopefully in the spring, (new name pending!) when I am feeling stronger and able to bring the magic to life in the way I had planned.

Thank you so much for your understanding, your kindness and for supporting me. It means more than you know.

I am so excited for the Witchy Winter Wonderland coming up. It is going to be a beautiful festive day filled with magic, warmth and community. We will have readers, healers, handmade gifts, delicious treats and so many lovely stalls to explore.

If you love crystals, witchy bits, holistic therapies or simply want a cosy day out with the family, this is the perfect place to be. Children are welcome and the energy will be soft, friendly and full of sparkle.

✨The Sacredness of Samhain✨

As the veil thins and we step into the dark half of the year, Samhain invites us to slow down, listen, and remember. This is not just a night of costumes and candles it is a sacred threshold, a turning point in the wheel of the year where death and rebirth entwine.

Samhain is a time when the ancestors draw near, when the whispers of those who came before us are carried on the smoke of our fires and the breath of the autumn wind. It is a night to honour them to speak their names, light candles in their memory, and thank them for the paths they paved and the lessons they left behind.

It is also a time for releasing. The final harvest has been gathered, the fields rest, and the earth begins her long exhale. We, too, are asked to lay down what we no longer need, to compost old stories, and make space for the seeds that will root in winter’s stillness.

Samhain reminds us that death is not an ending, but part of a sacred cycle. Within every descent lies a promise of renewal.

So when we say Samhain Blessings, let it not be empty words, but a heartfelt invocation.

May we honour the sacredness of this season the ancestors, the shadow, the mystery, and the quiet rebirth waiting in the dark.

The veil thins, the energy gathers, and community becomes even more sacred.

Samhain is more than a night, it’s a remembering of ancestors, of wisdom, of who we’ve become.

I invite you to join me in holding space for remembrance and rebirth.

I will be holding a Samhain Gathering at thebisleyyurt we gather together to enjoy food, Samhain craft and community. We will also sit in circle to feel the presence of loved ones around us.
