Today was the launch of my exhibition at ! This piece found its new home pretty quickly!

Titled ‘A New Dawn’ it is an expressive and colourful original painting.

Time to take a look at the details in my eagle painting! 👀 🦅

Time to talk about the “why” behind this painting. When I saw the reference image and I loved it! It felt full of life and movement. I liked the gradient of the landscape and I wanted to try and translate that into abstract paint work that also gave a sense of light and atmosphere.

The form of the eagle itself seemed to embody everything I think of when I think “eagle” - powerful, skilled, synchronised, full of intent. And a little bit epic.
