I made a thing - what do you think!

I’m not one for pinning Christmassy things to me or Christmassy earrings for instance but I adore a subtle nod to the festive season - and I think these are perfect for that, all pin collectors and enamelhappy lovers at Christmas 🫶🏻

My intention was to tell you a bit more about our ultra soft blankets this weekend now that it’s officially Autumn, but it actually doesn’t feel like September does it?

Aren’t we lucky with the weather (shhh I didn’t really say that out loud). We had a few days where autumn really felt like it was coming with some actual rain (who knew we’d actually come to appreciate that!) and now it feels like summer again doesn’t it.

Anyway here you are!

I’ve been thinking I must show you the video of actually HOW soft these blankets actually are 😍

If you’ve followed me on social media for a while you may know that there is a little story behind these blankets.

I used to sell a different style and then randomly my supplier sent me these ones instead and I thought it was a mistake. But no, they had just changed the style they were doing without even telling me!

It turns out I did the right thing by sticking with them as you LOVE these even more!

How lucky am I to have the most amazing photographer to take shots of my products.

I came home from a weekend away to find 2 Gift of the Year awards waiting for me!

It really was a lovely feeling to see these awards in real life, and they will now take pride of place.

Initially I hadn’t actually realised the “Highly Commended” products were also given awards as well as the winners of the categories, and it really is a great feeling.

If you are thinking of entering a product of your own, just go for it! I have found it a wonderful experience.

I didn’t have any idea if I’d even be shortlisted, and I was so proud to make it to the final in 2 categories of the 3 I entered, and ultimately receive Highly Commended in both.

Entering The Gift of the Year has really helped my business grow too.

Even if you are not yet able to do trade shows with your business, if you are shortlisted they are shown at some great shows so you get some great exposure.
