Another project for my new layout was to keep the cabling tidy under the boards. Most cable management you can buy is for commercial or home use, not for hobbies.

This is a thinner design than what is available elsewhere; I am looking at adding extra options to this design.

Whilst working on my new exhibition layout, I decided to update my design for dummy point motors. The original design was for older resin printers with less detail. I have updated the design with more detail.

After being in a model club for a number of years, it’s time to get
back to doing stuff for myself and create a new layout with my son.

Step 1: create some boards for the new layout. To help build the boards, it’s great to have a 3D printer to create brackets to help build and align the boards.

Now to finalise the design and look at purchasing track.

My new industrial skips have proved to be popular despite other people having the design online. This design comes in resin and FDM variants.
