Most people think driving instructors spend their day teaching lessons. And yes… that’s the rewarding part 🚗

But ask almost any ADI or PDI and they’ll tell you there’s a whole second job happening behind the scenes. Enquiries coming in from everywhere. Diaries to manage. Payments to chase. Progress to track. Marketing to keep ticking over. It all adds up quickly, and it’s something the industry is quietly changing around.

We’ve just published a new article on ADI Trainers looking at the hidden workload many instructors face and how technology, automation and smarter systems are starting to reshape the way driving schools operate. It explores:

• Why the role of a modern driving instructor has evolved
• The admin pressures most instructors deal with daily
• How learner expectations are changing
• The types of tools and systems helping instructors stay organised
• What the future of the industry could look like

If you’re an ADI, PDI or running a driving school, this is a really insightful read and might feel very relatable.
