Hello, I’m Darya, the hands behind Orie ceramics!

Today I wanted to share why I create women shaped candle holders.

In this series, I return to the same form - the female figure.
It becomes a foundation for exploring color, texture, detail, and personality.

The candle holder is a symbol of light - just like a woman.
Each woman I sculpt has her own unique character: one has a cat on her shoulder, another flowers in her hair,
or ethnic tattoos on both arms.

I see femininity as something multifaceted and alive - strong and tender, domestic and a little magical.

Through my work, I hope to remind each of us of the light we carry inside ❤️‍🩹
