Giving audiences one last opportunity to witness the talent of a performer who dedicated more than three decades to the entertainment industry.

Born in 1970, Song Young Kyu was widely respected as one of South Korea’s most recognizable and accomplished character actors. Across a remarkable 31-year career, he appeared in more than 100 stage productions, films, and television dramas, earning praise for memorable roles in Extreme Job, The Penthouse 3, Reply 1988, Stove League, and many other beloved projects.

In addition to his acting career, Song also served as a special professor in the Department of Performing Arts at Semyung University, helping inspire and guide future generations of actors.

Although Teach You a Lesson completed filming before his passing, the series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in the summer of 2026. Because of the delayed release, viewers will only now have the chance to see his final performance on screen.
