FEW EXCERPTS FROM THE BOOK
God created man in His own image after His own likeness and gave man dominion over the earth.
Genesis 1:26-28:
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Man generally is a reflection of Godโs character in ability and creativity; therefore man can achieve a lot in life; because God created us in His image and likeness. This is a general fact. Whether you are a Christian or not, God has put something in man that he can use to develop his surrounding and to get to big heights in life.
The believers in Christ have a peculiar relationship with God that makes us better place than others in terms of achievements in life. 2 What is for the general population has special application to those who are in Christ Jesus.
I Peter 2:9a:
โBut ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous lightโ
If we are peculiar to God then everything about us is peculiar to Him.
* Our career is peculiar to Him
* Our business is peculiar to Him
* Our professional practices are peculiar to Him etc.
This means that God has given a lot of things to man in general but there are people who are peculiar to Him that He has given things. As believers we have access to divine nature and wisdom which gives us great advantage over others concerning the issues of life. We have a privilege that others donโt have because we have access to God and to everything that He has. If we know our rights and privileges as children of God we will be able to excel much more than other people who are around us.
God has put in us the ability not only to achieve definite and unmistakable results in our pursuits but also to make such achievements to endure. The ability He has put in us is not the ability to have something that appears for a short time and then it exhausts. He has given us the ability not only to make it but also that what we have achieved in life will endure for time and for eternity. He has made exceeding great and precious promises concerning the work of our hands and all our pursuits in life.
Deuteronomy 28:12a:
โThe LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.โ
God is committed to His people in making sure that they get want they desired form Him as regards all their endeavours. If we make Him part of our pursuits in life, there is no insurmountable problem that we cannot overcome because He will be ready to answer us when we call upon Him because what we are doing He is part of it; and whatever concerns us in terms of our pursuits in life, it also concern Him. And when we are in trouble we call upon Him. He will answer and He will intervene and remove whatever obstacle and hindrance that is blocking us from getting to our ultimate in life.
So all I am trying to make clear to you my dear friend is the โDIVINE FACTORโ in achieving these great results in life. Throughout in the part one of this book I will be talking about how God can help or lift you from low places in life to a great height that even your enemies can do nothing about. Then, in the part two I will be giving you some practical steps or principles that will help you to have unmistakable results in any pursuit of your life.
