LOVE FROM TEMU — Episode 1

A Story by Rainbows Affairs

The sun was slowly disappearing over the ocean when Temu arrived at the small coastal town.

He had come there hoping for a fresh start.

After months of feeling lost at home and struggling to understand what he truly wanted from life, Temu believed that a quiet place by the sea might give him the peace he desperately needed.

But he wasn't expecting to meet Daniel.

Daniel was confident, kind, and surprisingly easy to talk to. Their first meeting happened by accident when Temu dropped his phone near the beach.

“You dropped this,” Daniel said, handing it back.

Temu smiled. “Thank you. I thought I had lost everything.”

Daniel laughed softly. “It's just a phone.”

Temu looked at him for a moment.

“Sometimes,” he replied, “losing one small thing can remind you how much you already have.”

Daniel didn't understand the statement, but something about Temu's words stayed with him.

The two began talking.

At first, it was ordinary conversations—school, family, dreams, music, and the strange ways life could change without warning.

But soon, their friendship became important to both of them.

There was also Michael, Daniel's longtime friend, who seemed to notice everything happening between them.

One evening, Michael pulled Daniel aside.

“You're getting too close to Temu,” he warned.

Daniel frowned. “He's my friend.”

“I'm not saying he isn't. I'm saying you don't know his story.”

Those words planted a seed of doubt in Daniel's mind.

That night, Daniel discovered something shocking.

Temu wasn't simply visiting the town.

He had been searching for someone.

Someone connected to a secret his family had kept hidden for years.

And when Daniel asked him about it, Temu finally confessed:

“My family told me never to come here.”

“Then why did you?”

Temu looked toward the ocean.

“Because there are some truths you can't run from forever.”

Daniel stared at him, realizing that the peaceful vacation he had imagined was about to become something much bigger.

Then Temu received a mysterious message on his phone.

“I know who you are. Leave this town before they find you.”

Temu's face suddenly changed.

Daniel noticed.

“What happened?”

Temu quickly put the phone away.

“Nothing.”

But Daniel knew it wasn't nothing.

And before sunrise, someone was already watching them from a distance.

IMPORTED LOVE

Episode 1 — A Story by Rainbows Affairs

The evening sun painted the shipping port in shades of orange and gold as Daniel stepped out of a container truck, carrying a small backpack and a heart full of uncertainty.

He had come to the city looking for work. His family believed he was chasing a better future, but Daniel knew there was another reason he had made the journey: he wanted to start over and finally understand who he was.

At the port, he met Malik, a confident young man who worked around the shipping yard. Malik noticed Daniel struggling with a heavy box and immediately offered to help.

“First day here?” Malik asked.

Daniel nodded. “Yeah. Everything feels so unfamiliar.”

Malik smiled. “Give it time. Sometimes the best things in life arrive from places we never expected.”

Those words stayed with Daniel.

Over the next few days, Malik introduced Daniel to his friends, including Jay, a quiet and thoughtful young man who seemed to understand Daniel without him saying much.

The three quickly became close friends.

But Daniel soon realized something was changing.

Whenever Jay entered the room, Daniel became nervous. He found himself looking forward to their conversations and wondering what Jay was thinking. It frightened him because he had never allowed himself to talk openly about those feelings.

One evening, the three friends sat near the containers watching the sunset.

Jay looked at Daniel and asked, “Have you ever met someone who made you feel like you could finally be yourself?”

Daniel hesitated.

“Yes,” he quietly replied.

Jay smiled. “Who?”

Daniel looked at him but couldn't find the courage to answer.

Before he could say anything, Malik suddenly received a phone call. His expression changed immediately.

“We need to leave,” he said.

Daniel stood up. “What happened?”

Malik looked toward the entrance of the port.

“Someone has been asking questions about you.”

Daniel's heart sank.

“About me? Why?”

Malik didn't answer.

As they hurried away, Daniel glanced back at the containers and noticed a mysterious man standing in the distance, watching them.

Daniel had come to the city believing he was searching for a new beginning.

He didn't know that his arrival had already become part of a secret that could change all three of their lives.

And somewhere between friendship, fear, and feelings he was still learning to understand, Daniel was about to discover that some things are imported into our lives without warning—and some are impossible to send back.

TO BE CONTINUED…

What do you think Malik is hiding? Who is the mysterious man watching Daniel? And will Daniel ever find the courage to tell Jay how he feels?

I NEVER KNEW MY FATHER COULD HEAR MY INNER THOUGHTS

Episode 1 — The Voice He Was Never Supposed to Hear

A Story by Rainbows Affairs

The Nwankwo compound was one of the biggest houses in the village. Behind its tall gates lived Chief Nwankwo, a respected Igbo businessman and traditional titleholder whose name alone could command silence.

To everyone outside, Chief Nwankwo was a powerful father.

But inside his home, he was a man with strict rules.

His only son, Chuks Nwankwo, had grown up knowing exactly what his father expected from him.

Finish school.

Take over the family business.

Marry a woman.

Give him grandchildren.

And never bring shame to the Nwankwo name.

That morning, Chuks sat silently at the breakfast table while his father discussed his future.

“Chuks,” Chief Nwankwo said firmly, “your uncle has arranged for you to meet his friend's daughter this weekend. She is educated, respectful, and from a good family.”

Chuks lowered his eyes.

“Yes, Father.”

But inside his mind, another conversation was happening.

I don't want to meet her.

How can I marry a woman when my heart doesn't feel that way?

If Father knew the truth about me, he would never look at me the same way again.

Chief Nwankwo suddenly stopped eating.

His eyes slowly moved toward his son.

“Did you say something?”

Chuks looked confused.

“No, Father.”

Chief Nwankwo stared at him.

For a moment, he thought he had imagined the voice.

Then another thought came.

Please, God… don't let him find out that I'm gay.

The spoon fell from Chief Nwankwo's hand.

CLANG!

Chuks jumped.

“Father?”

Chief Nwankwo looked around the dining room.

Nobody was there.

His heart began beating faster.

He could still hear the voice.

Not from Chuks' mouth.

From somewhere inside his mind.

Why is Father looking at me like that?

Chief Nwankwo stood up abruptly.

“I'm going to my room.”

He walked away without another word.

Inside his bedroom, he locked the door.

“What is happening to me?” he whispered.

He had heard his son speak without moving his lips.

At first, he believed it was some strange illness.

But then he heard Chuks' voice again.

I can't tell him. He'll hate me.

Chief Nwankwo froze.

He placed his hand against his chest.

“My son…”

For the first time in his life, the powerful Chief Nwankwo was afraid.

Not of enemies.

Not of business rivals.

Not even of death.

He was afraid of what he might discover inside his own son's heart.

---

That evening, Chuks secretly met his closest friend, Daniel, behind an old family store.

Daniel was the only person who knew Chuks' secret.

“I don't know how much longer I can keep pretending,” Chuks said.

Daniel looked worried.

“You don't have to tell your father until you're ready.”

Chuks sighed.

“My father has already planned my entire life.”

He looked down.

“I love someone, Daniel.”

“Who?”

Chuks hesitated.

“His name is Emeka.”

Daniel smiled gently.

“So you really love him?”

Chuks nodded.

“I do. But I don't know if my father will ever accept it.”

Unnoticed by them, Chief Nwankwo had followed his son.

He stood behind a wall, listening.

Then Chuks thought:

If Father discovers that Emeka is the person I love, he'll destroy everything.

Chief Nwankwo's face changed.

Emeka.

So there was a man.

His son was in love with another man.

Chief Nwankwo wanted to confront Chuks immediately.

But something stopped him.

For the first time, he wondered:

What if my son isn't trying to disgrace me?

What if he's simply afraid of losing his father?

---

Later that night, Chuks returned home.

He walked into his bedroom and closed the door.

His father stood outside in the dark hallway.

He could hear everything.

I wish Father could understand me.

I wish he knew that I'm still the same Chuks he raised.

I haven't stopped loving him.

Chief Nwankwo closed his eyes.

A tear slowly rolled down his cheek.

He had spent years teaching his son how to become a strong man.

But perhaps he had never taught himself how to listen.

Then Chuks thought something that shook him completely.

Maybe I should leave this house before Father finds out everything.

Chief Nwankwo immediately opened his eyes.

“No.”

Inside the room, Chuks heard his father's voice through the door.

“Chuks.”

He opened the door.

“Yes, Father?”

Chief Nwankwo stared at him for several seconds.

There were a thousand questions in his mind.

But he asked only one.

“Are you happy?”

Chuks was stunned.

“I… I don't know.”

His father looked away.

“Go to sleep.”

Chuks closed the door.

Chief Nwankwo remained in the hallway.

Then he heard his son's final thought before falling asleep:

I just want my father to love me for who I really am.

Chief Nwankwo stood completely still.

For the first time, he understood that the secret he had discovered wasn't just about his son's sexuality.

It was about a father's love being tested.

And somewhere in the darkness, Chief Nwankwo made a decision.

He would not tell Chuks that he could hear his thoughts.

Not yet.

Because before confronting his son...

He needed to confront himself.

TO BE CONTINUED…

THE PALACE AND IT ENVIRON

Episode One — The Prince’s Secret

A Story by Rainbows Affairs

The drums of the royal palace echoed through the ancient kingdom of Umuora as hundreds of people gathered for the annual Royal Festival. Golden decorations covered the palace walls, while colorful fabrics danced in the evening breeze.

At the center of it all stood Prince Chukwudi, the first son of the King.

Everyone saw him as the perfect future king—handsome, intelligent, disciplined, and destined to inherit the throne. But behind his royal smile, Chukwudi carried a secret that could destroy everything his family had built.

His heart belonged to another man.

His name was Emeka, the son of a palace chief.

Their love had begun quietly months earlier. Stolen glances in the palace garden became secret conversations, and those conversations slowly became something neither man could deny.

That evening, Emeka waited beneath the old mango tree behind the palace.

“You came,” Emeka whispered when Chukwudi finally appeared.

“I told you I would,” the prince replied.

Emeka smiled. “Your father is looking for you. The whole palace is preparing for the announcement.”

Chukwudi's expression changed.

“What announcement?”

Emeka looked away.

“The King has chosen a bride for you.”

Silence filled the garden.

Chukwudi stepped closer. “I cannot marry her.”

“You are a prince,” Emeka said sadly. “The kingdom expects you to produce an heir.”

“And what about what I want?”

Emeka swallowed hard. “Sometimes princes don't get to choose who they love.”

Chukwudi reached for his hand.

“I choose you.”

Before Emeka could respond, they heard footsteps approaching.

Someone was coming.

They quickly separated.

From the shadows emerged Prince Obinna, Chukwudi's younger brother. He stared at them with shock.

“I knew there was a secret,” Obinna said.

Chukwudi froze.

“Obinna…”

His brother slowly shook his head.

“You have no idea what will happen if Father discovers this.”

Then a loud royal gong sounded from the palace.

The King was calling everyone to the throne room.

Obinna looked at his brother.

“Go. Your secret is safe with me… for now.”

Chukwudi and Emeka exchanged a worried glance before returning to the palace.

Inside the throne room, the King rose from his golden throne.

“Tonight,” he announced, “I will reveal the person who will stand beside my first son and become the future Queen of Umuora.”

The doors opened.

A beautiful young woman entered the hall.

The crowd erupted in celebration.

But Chukwudi didn't look at her.

His eyes searched for Emeka standing quietly among the palace servants.

Their eyes met.

And in that single moment, both men realized that their greatest battle had finally begun.

To be continued…

Questions for Readers

1. Will Chukwudi choose the throne or the man he loves?
2. Can Obinna really keep his brother's secret?
3. Who is the mysterious woman chosen by the King?
4. What will happen when the palace discovers the truth?

Rainbows Affairs 🌈

The morning bell rang across Royal Heights College, but something about that day felt different.

Daniel stood near the school gate, watching students hurry into the compound. He had transferred to the school only a week earlier, yet everyone already seemed to know his name.

Daniel was quiet, handsome, and mysterious. He kept to himself, carrying a secret he wasn't ready to share with anyone.

As he walked toward his classroom, he accidentally bumped into someone.

“I'm sorry,” Daniel said quickly.

The boy turned around.

It was Adrian—the most popular student in school. He was confident, wealthy, and always surrounded by friends.

“It's okay,” Adrian replied, staring at Daniel for a moment longer than necessary.

Their eyes met.

Neither of them spoke.

Then Adrian smiled.

“You're new here, aren't you?”

“Yes.”

“I'm Adrian.”

“Daniel.”

“Nice to meet you, Daniel.”

From that moment, something changed.

Adrian began finding reasons to sit beside Daniel during lunch. He helped him with assignments and even walked him to the school gate after classes.

But Adrian had a problem.

He was secretly in love with someone else.

And that person was Daniel.

One afternoon, Adrian finally gathered the courage to say what was in his heart.

“Daniel, there's something I've wanted to tell you.”

Daniel looked at him nervously.

“What is it?”

Before Adrian could answer, a black car stopped outside the school gate.

A tall young man stepped out wearing an expensive red suit.

Everyone became silent.

Adrian's face suddenly changed.

Daniel looked confused.

“Who is that?”

Adrian whispered, “That's Prince Kelvin.”

Kelvin walked straight toward them.

Then he looked directly at Daniel.

“I've been looking for you.”

Daniel froze.

“Looking for me? Why?”

Kelvin smiled mysteriously.

“Because your father left something for you before he died.”

Adrian stared at Daniel in shock.

Daniel's heart began pounding.

“What did my father leave me?”

Kelvin leaned closer.

“A secret that could change everything you know about your family.”

And just like that, Daniel's ordinary life was about to become a royal scandal.
