Dropoff GM Announces November 2 Launch of Customer and Partner Apps in The Gambia

New mobile platforms will connect customers, drivers, couriers and local merchants through one growing digital ecosystem
Dropoff GM today announced the official launch of its two new mobile applications, Dropoff GM Customer and Dropoff GM Partner, marking a major step in the company’s mission to make transportation, delivery and local commerce more accessible through technology in The Gambia.
Launching November 2, the two apps are designed to work together as part of the Dropoff GM ecosystem. The Customer app provides a convenient way for people to access Dropoff GM services from their phones, while the Partner app gives drivers, couriers and merchants the tools they need to earn, manage their activity and reach more customers.
The launch brings both sides of the Dropoff marketplace together on dedicated mobile platforms, creating an infrastructure designed around the needs of Gambian consumers and businesses.
One App for Customers
The Dropoff GM Customer App is designed to give users a simple digital gateway to services available through the Dropoff GM platform. Through the app, customers can access transportation, delivery and marketplace services from their iPhones, bringing everyday services into a single mobile experience. One App for Drivers, Couriers and Merchants
The Dropoff GM Partner App is built for the people and businesses powering the platform. Drivers and couriers can use the Partner app to manage their availability, accept nearby ride and package-delivery requests, navigate to pickups and drop-offs, and monitor their earnings. For local merchants, the platform creates another channel for reaching digital customers. Restaurants, grocery stores, electronics retailers, cosmetics businesses and other merchants can use the app to manage incoming orders, maintain their digital storefronts and monitor sales activity. The Partner app is designed for operations in the Greater Banjul Area and allows partners to participate as drivers, couriers or marketplace merchants.

Building a Digital Marketplace for The Gambia The November 2 launch represents more than the release of two mobile applications. It establishes the foundation for a connected local marketplace in which customers can conveniently access services while independent drivers, couriers and businesses gain new opportunities to generate income and grow.
